Part two of our analysis of Robert Godfrey's lectures on the "end" of Christendom. Those lectures were presented at Zeltenreich Reformed Church (Lancaster County, PA) in the autumn of 2023.

Robert Godfrey said, "I would argue that there is something, maybe not everything, but something liberating about the end of Christendom. Where Christians no longer need to be in the position of being coercive and go back to what I would say is the original Christian stance – namely, that we seek to be persuasive." Those words were part of "The End of Christendom" mini-conference held at Zeltenreich Reformed Church in Lancaster County, PA. On this episode, Chris Hume analyzes Godfrey's use of the term "coercion" in his lectures.

Last month, Zeltenreich Reformed Church in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, hosted a mini-conference entitled, “The End of Christendom?” The conference featured two sessions by Dr. W. Robert Godfrey. In his talks, Godfrey argued that Christendom has been marked by coercion and that in the gospel accounts, Jesus “didn’t have a coercive bone in his body.” He also contended that Christendom ended in 2015. In this first part of a two-part analysis, Chris, Joel, Luke, and Travis critique Godfrey’s first session on “The End of Christendom.”

In Ohio, the voters have spoken, and they are in favor of a “constitutional right” to abortion. Over 56% of voters (that’s over 2.1 million voters) said "yes" to a constitutional right to abortion in Ohio. President Biden called the vote a clear rejection of "attempts by MAGA Republican elected officials to impose extreme abortion bans."
