John MacArthur said it was an “easy call” to shut down the assembly of the saints. Paradoxically, he also claimed that the assembly of the saints is “the most essential of all things.” Then, for months, MacArthur sent a message to his church (and the watching world) that the church was closed. Strangely, some are denying that MacArthur shut down the church.
