Interview With "Top Gun: Maverick" Composer & Soundtrack Producer, Lorne Balfe

"Top Gun: Maverick" has gone on to become one of the highest-grossing films of all time since its release earlier this year. Now, the film is a bonafide Oscar contender for multiple categories, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (Tom Cruise), and many of its craft categories. One Oscar race where it's been the frontrunner for almost the entire season has been in Best Original Song for Lady Gaga's "Hold My Hand." The rock, power ballad plays over the credits but has its music weaved in throughout the movie, giving her composer credit alongside Hans Zimmer, Lorne Balfe, and Harold Faltermeyer. Balfe was kind enough to take some time over the summer to talk with us about working on the score, what went into creating "Hold My Hand," and more. Please take a listen below and enjoy. Interview With "Bros" Songwriters Billy Eichner & Marc Shaiman For "Love Is Not Love"

"Bros" had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it received positive reviews for its writing, performances, humor, and representation of the LGBTQ community. The song is seen as a contender for this year's Academy Awards for Best Original Song. Songwriters Billy Eicher and Marc Shaiman were kind enough to spend some time talking about the song with us, including if Billy will perform at the ceremony if the song is nominated, and more.
