"The Magician's Elephant" is based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Kate DiCamillo and tells the story of a young boy searching for his young lost sister. The Netflix-produced computer-animated film is directed by Wendy Rogers, who previously worked in visual effects before making her feature directorial debut here; written by Martin Hynes, who co-wrote "Toy Story 4" and stars "A Quiet Place" and "Honey Boy" actor Noah Jupe.
