DTS - with Moser CEO Edouard Meylan
Anthony (@defining_time) and Rob (@Geneva_Blue) team up for the first time to interview Swiss Watch Industry pioneer CEO of H Moser & Cie Edouard Meylan. We take a different road for this conversation and talk about being so innovative and "controversial" in the industry, do they always feel the pressure to continue pushing the boundaries with every new release and how to keep things positive when being asked very similar questions in different ways on podcasts and YouTube interviews. We then chat a bit about trust and the Pioneer Tour and what has been the result of removing "Swiss Made" from their dials. We hope this is a different interview to you are used.
We cannot thank Ed enough for always making himself available to speak with and for being so open, honest and transparent. A true gentlemen and modern day pioneer. Thank you Ed.
We hope you enjoy this episode just as much as we did.

DTS - With Hublot Manager @mr_hublotgerie
Welcome back to the Defining Time Show, Anthony here for a very exciting conversation. Today we meet Mike Linner who is the Store Manager at Hublot Frankfurt and I ask the hard questions. Charming man that had a few things he wanted to say. We discussed the typical Hublot customer and learn that its not the stereotype we think and what makes Hublot so special to collectors. We learn a bit more about the history of the brand and the direction they are going. Sounds like there is some very exciting things to look forward to from Hublot. Following on from my previous Hublot podcast, I was excited to speak to Mike and ask some of the questions I wanted answers to. In particular, working for a brand that is largely hated by the watch community, for reasons I do not know. Catch Mike on IG @Mr_Hublotgerie and he is happy to talk and answer any questions.
Sit back, grab a whiskey, put your judgement and prejudice to the side and enjoy the show.

IT - Horological Book Club with Charlie
Another episode of the Independent Thinking Show for FifthWrist Radio. Join hosts Roman (@TimesRomanAU) and co-host Adam (@mediumwatch) as we chat with today’s special guest – horological bibliophile and gentleman scholar Charlie (@books_on_time). Join us for an honest conversation about horological books, online watch media, erotic watches, and the importance of journalistic integrity in the world of paid luxury content. Quick warning: we will probably offend a few people in the “watch media industry” with this episode – but we tend to call BS on the problems we see. On the bright side – there are a few jokes thrown in, so you will definitely have a giggle! Honourable shout-outs in this episode to friends of the FifthWrist podcast: Chris Alexander (@thedialartist), Christian Lass (@christian_lass), Ryan Schmidt (@wristwatchhandbook), Kiran Shekar (@kiran_shekar), and Roni Madhvani (@roni_m_29). Of course it wouldn’t be an episode of Independent Thinking, if we didn’t mention my horological hero Svend Andersen (@andersengeneve) :-) We also discuss Francesca Cartier Brickell’s book “The Cartiers” (@creatingcartier) and Mitch Greenblatt’s book “Retro Watches” (@horolovox). Get them both! Hope you enjoy this episode! Many thanks to Charlie for joining us! Thank you for all the positive reviews & comments on our episodes. We read and appreciate each one!
