Welcome to The Defining Time Show on Fifth Wrist Radio. This week Anthony (@defining_time) is joined by our favourite and only German co host Claus (@tapir_ffm) as we get a lesson on German watches with all-round legend and German watch expert Mike (@mikestuffler). Mike has a massive passion for German watches and really just watches in general. Like many, Rolex will always weasel its way in somehow, but we take a look at some of Mike's favourites and hear a story about how his whole collection was stolen. Truly very sad but Mike is a trooper and just got on with rebuilding. Mike was a moderator for the watch forum WatchUSeek for many years as well as a host of other forums so we really mean expert and it was interested to hear about how forums do their best to keep the scammers away. We discuss the history of Flieger watches and how they were and still are such an important watch as well as chatting about a weird connection between Japan's fascination with USA well build military clothing and what the modern day Flieger stands for. Claus and Anthony certainly learnt a thing or two about German watches as we're sure you will too.
