#128: Fixed vs Growth Mindset - Do I Have Both? ~Bryn Jenkins
This gets interesting! Bryn Jenkins joins us again, this time remotely, to explore and reflect on and how Fixed and Growth Mindsets manifest in the weal world, and how it’s unlikely you posses just one or the other.
Perhaps over popularised now, many people are quick to label themselves as having a growth mindset - because they are taking some risks and learning. But, are they really growth minded?
What started off as a discussion to define the two mindsets and then showcase our individual shifts from fixed to growth, became a conversation with more questions than answers. Our fixed mindset tendencies started to shine through…
This is an important conversation, with lots of definition and education, but made real by exposing the multi dimensional realities of being human. Hopefully these stories and insights resonate, and also offer some inspiration.

#127: Red Light Therapy: all you need to know ~Bryan Gohl
Bryan Gohl educates us on the whole-body benefits of Red Light Therapy - a promising and scientifically validated technology that is quickly becoming a staple within the daily regimes of wellness enthusiasts.
At its essence, Red Light Therapy looks to replicate some of the powerful human benefits of sun exposure, in a shorter more intense session that fits into our busy modern lifestyles. We are, after all, photosensitive beings that are regulated by the daily rhythm of sunlight.
We instinctively know we feel mentally and physically when it’s sunny and we’re outside. Bryan, biohacker and founder of Red Light Rising, helps us understand the biological mechanisms for why this is, and how Red light Therapy leverages these same mechanisms.
This episode explores Bryan’s personal wellness journey, including the profound impact his counter culture dietary choices have had on his health and wellness. He shares how he found Red Light Therapy, and what motivated him to start a company in this space.
From there, we get into the science and evolutionary logic behind the mechanisms and benefits of sunlight, red light and infrared. We get into the details, whilst making it very practical in terms of how to integrate Red Light Therapy into your life.
For those that want the most out of life, getting clued up on Red Light Therapy just makes sense. It’s the true expression of self-optimisation.

Gain a unique emotional and personal insight into living with a significant mental health disorder, with Psychologist, mental health advocate, and public speaker Jeremiah Osei-Tutu.
Recorded 1st April 2020 - We are within a deep and profound crisis - the Coronavirus global pandemic. Modern life has stopped, as we know it. We’re adapting to a very different way of living.
Emotions are high. It’s an incredibly testing time psychologically. We need tools, perspectives and emotional guidance on how to navigate the darkness of this crisis - to protect our mental and physical wellbeing.
For some, this time could be particularly vulnerable and scary. To help see this situation through the eyes of those with mental health disorders, Jeremiah Osei-Tutu offers his unique perspective as sufferer of Schizophrenia and a Psychologist.
This episode lets you in to the dark reality of serious mental health issues. You may relate to some degree to the emotional struggles of life. Most importantly, it exposes the powerful mechanisms to not only cope, but to also robustly thrive in spite of mental disorders.
The interview naturally takes on two halves. Firstly, Jeremiah bravely lets us into his world and shares his debilitating mental health journey. The second half switches to the COVID-19 Pandemic, covering the looming mental health issues and ways to combat those real risks.

#124: Veganism: The Unsettling Moral, Political & Nutritional Truths ~Lierre Keith
20-year ex Vegan and acclaimed author Lierre Keith, joins us to expose the ugly truths about veganism and plant agriculture that we never hear.
Lierre breaks down the flawed and misunderstood moral, political and nutritional world views that are so popular in vegan, vegetarian and plant-based advocacy.
This is not a witch hunt. Lierre cares so deeply about causing least harm, harmonising with nature and replenishing our looted soils. She makes the claim that the most passionate about nature and sustainability, are unfortunately the most naive regarding our modern plant-heavy food supply.
This is why we did this episode. To empathetically speak to the devout Vegans, Vegetarians, and those seriously considering a plant-based diet for ethical, sustainable and nutritional reasons. There is no judgement, just adult knowledge to supplement people's passion.
Pro-Vegan messaging can strike a chord in quick soundbites. Rebutting these soundbites requires deep dialog and understanding. Lierre’s emotional and jarring book The Vegetarian Myth does exactly that from a moral, political and nutritional perspective.
We try our best to represent the key elements of her book within this unavoidably long Podcast interview. It’s worth committing the time. We all need to level set on some ugly truths if we are to find sustainable and nourishing ways to exist.

#123: Female Health on Low Carb, Keto & Carnivore Diets ~Dr. Jaime Seeman
Dr Jaime Seeman, aka Doctor Fit and Fabulous, who specialises in female health, joins us today for a scientific and personal discussion on why she strongly advocates for an animal-based low carb lifestyle. It’s a fun and informative interview!
Jaime is a OBGYN from Nebraska, who has seen tremendous physical and wellness results personally over the last 3 years by embracing a ketogenic lifestyle.
In actual fact, it’s when she transitioned to a Carnivore(ish) diet the benefits in health, body composition and mental capability really took off. As well as her career online.
Jaime does a great job of representing women in the male-dominated cross section of Keto, Carnivore, Bodybuilding and Functional Practioners. She offers a compelling and exciting insight for other women to explore, and is debunking many long held nutritional beliefs.
In this episode, we get into Dr. Jaime Seeman’s personal journey, what she sees clinically, and her certainty behind advocating women to try out Low Carb, Keto and Carnivore style diets. We touch on some hot topics for many women around the globe, including pregnancy, hypothyroidism, post pregnancy, failed glucose tests, menstrual cycles cravings, concerns with plant-based and/or low fat diets, and much more.

#121: Freedom from Debilitating Chronic Illnesses with Carnivore/Keto ~Rebekah Farmer
This episode will shock you! We have Rebekah Farmer on the show today, who is bravely sharing her lifelong struggle with her body, mind and gut rebelling against her very existence.
You name it, Rebekah has had it… it is truly unfathomable just how much biological abuse she endured over 15+ years.
Degenerative Disc, Insomnia, Depression, OCD, ADHD, Anxiety, chronic Acne, Osteopenia. Asthma, hives, IBS, IBD, Coeliac, chronic Lyme disease, Hashimotos, Colitis, Addisons, chronic C. Diff, Diverticulitis, Ulcerative Colitis, Scleroderma, Slow Transit Colon, and more! Can you even imagine?!
Rebekah has battled with a systemic emergency for almost all her own life, with crippling pain, emotional trauma, medicated up to her eyeballs, and a body seemingly giving up on her. She was incredibly uncomfortable within her own skin, could not function normally, and weighed as little as 79lbs as a fully grown woman.
Fast forward to today, and Rebekah is completely off all meds. Almost every condition and symptom has disappeared. She is happy, strong, highly functioning and thriving. How?! Keto made a huge difference to her need for medication, but it was the Carnivore Diet that has had the most profound impact in her quality of life and health.
Sounds crazy right? I know. But, it sounds the same as Mikhaila Peterson's road to recovery on an all-meat diet. As well as 1000’s and growing cases online (such as MeatRX) of miraculous recoveries from modern diseases by taking this extreme and seemingly drastic course of action.
You’ll want to hear Rebakah’s story. Painful, encouraging… and truly fascinating.

#119: Overcoming a Grade IV Brain Tumour ~Logan Sneed
Logan Sneed went from a high school athlete to becoming grade IV terminal brain tumour cancer patient overnight. He had a Glioblastoma the size of an egg in his brain!
He was informed that survival was improbable, and at best his life would be permanently altered with his hopes and dreams ripped away from him. He would likely never be able to talk and hear again.
Luckily, Logan’s story has been remarkable, and we get to hear it today on this podcast interview. Logan demonstrates relentless drive, unshakable hope, persistent actions to get the right outcome, and a full on commitment to live his best life post surgery.
Part of Logan’s recovery story is finding the Ketogenic lifestyle four years ago, and how his vitality, cognition and capability seems to have been significantly amplified since brain surgery.
Logan is a young and already successful fitness entrepreneur, a beacon of hope and courage, and most recently an author of book that retells his story called Thank You Cancer.
