A chapter from Nynaeve's point of view. She sneaks up on Lan and Moiraine. Lan and Nynaeve exchange a few jabs, and begin to respect each other.  Moiraine gives us a wealth of information about channeling, that applies to so much of Rand's journey, and Nynaeve's childhood.  The three form an alliance to find the rest of the Two Rivers folks.  The after show goes into garbage disposal. We start by thanking our Patrons. You guys are great! Seth gets into some corrections for past episodes pointed out by our fans.  We talk about the eyes in the dark, as the party is separated from the Aes Sedai by Mashadar.  An encounter with a group of Tollocs scatter the rest of the party, which has long ranging consequences. We are horrified by a Fade being tortured and killed by Mashadar as Rand escapes, and talk about it's terrible scream.  We get our first POV switch to Perrin, and he unites with Egwene.  Rand, Thom, and Mat manage to find a ship. We speculate about why our favorite River ship captain is being followed by Tollocs. Enter Shadar Logoth. There are some really nice descriptions of the architecture of this ruined city. How do you picture the characters?  The boys slip out the back of the warded shelter without permission to explore the empty city. As night approaches, they encounter Mordeth. We get into the motivations of this dangerous character. Matt picks up the ruby hilted dagger during their flight, but tells no one. After they return Rand has a dream. Is the old man in it Ishmael? Our Party flees from Bearlon, pursued by fists of Trollocs led by multiple Fades. Lan beheads a Myrddraal, while Moiraine uses her staff to fight. We discuss how channeling can depend on physical movements. We also get into the bond between the Fades and the Trollocs. Moiraine uses the last of her strength to delay and misdirect the Shadowspawn. What's the deal with Myrddraal horses? Nyneave travels unbelievably fast to catch our party.  We talk about whether she would had to have channeled to do it. She was certainly angry enough. We see Nyneave coldly confront Moiraine, but they have a chat behind closed doors, and Nyneave seems to accept her fate. What did Moiraine say? A myrddraal finds Rand in the inn, and the party flees into the night.  Why didn't it kill him? Let's drink about it. Bornhald confronts the group at the gates of Baerlon, and Moiraine puts on a bit of show to scare them off.  But as soon as our party is free of the children, they discover five fists of trollocs are closely pursuing them.  Run Bela! In this short sprint of a chapter, after spotting a dragkhar, Lan leads the party out of the Two Rivers at a full gallop through the night.  We see Rand channel (for the very first time?) to assist Bela and Egwene.
