State Wants KOHBERGER'S CLICK Activity in Murders of 4 Students

A new report says two surviving housemates in the Moscow, Idaho rental home where 4 students were killed, were awake and texting each other while the murders were taking place. The new information comes from Air Mail.com, a weekly digital subscription service. The lengthy article attributes the information to someone on the grand jury that indicted Bryan Kohberger. The information was allegedly leaked to Kaylee Goncalves’ Father,  Steve. Neither Gonsalves nor his attorney has commented or confirmed the information in the article. There is currently a restrictive gag order in place on the case. A statement released by the family however calls the claims “a very poor attempt at getting attention and obviously fictional.” As the investigation continues, prosecutors are asking for more of Bryan Kohberger's electronic footprint. The state is requesting customer information from multiple companies including Amazon, Apple, and PayPal. Search warrants have been served asking for information related to the purchase of knives, but that's not all.   The information requests include customer "click activity" pertaining to knives and accessories, as well.  Joining Nancy Grace Today: Tara Malek – Boise, ID, Attorney & Co-owner of Smith + Malek; Former State and Federal Prosecutor; Twitter: @smith_malek Caryn L. Crime Con: BTK SERIAL KILLER MYSTERY DEEPENS

Serial killer Dennis Rader, also known as BTK, is serving a life sentence for 10 confessed murders, but his own writings have possibly connected him to more.  In his journals, Rader made references to "projects," murders he fantasized about. One of those projects was abducting a woman from a laundromat. Teen Cynthia Dawn Kinney disappeared from her family-owned laundromat in 1979.   Rader was allegedly spotted leaving the location with two women around the time the cheerleader vanished according to Osage County Sheriff Eddie Virden. Virden recently led a search of Rader's former property in the area. Not all evidence recovered has been made public, however, Virden did share a pantyhose ligature found buried on the property.   The investigation now turns to proving a connection between Rader and murders resembling those logged in Rader's journals.  Joining Nancy Grace Today: Anne Bremner – Trial Lawyer, Legal Analyst, & Author: “Justice in the Age of Judgment;” Twitter: @annembremner; Instagram: @Anne_Bremner Caryn L. BEAUTIFUL BRIDE STABBED DEAD: Parents Quest for Truth THWARTED

A ruling by a Pennsylvania appellate court upholding the finding in Ellen Greenberg's death hasn't stopped her parents' search for the truth. The Philadelphia teacher was found dead in her apartment, stabbed more than 20 times. Some stabs were to the back and head, and somehow the death was ruled a suicide. It was initially listed as homicide. Why did the medical examiner change it? That is the million-dollar question. The parents do not believe Ellen committed suicide.  Josh and Sandee Greenberg have struggled, spending hundreds of thousands of dollars, to have the rule changed, and the appellate court ruling is just one more obstacle. In a 2-to-1 ruling, the Commonwealth Court found the Greenbergs lacked standing to bring their claim. This means that the parents can't raise a challenge, but if Ellen's parents can't, who can? In the same ruling, however, the court did raise questions about a faulty original investigation.    It's a conundrum. If the investigation was not properly handled, how does that not change the cause of death?
