oe Biden will be the 46th President of the United States. None of the networks or major news organizations have called it yet. But at 8:50 ET this morning, Decision Desk HQ - where I get all my election return info from (and talked about it on the show just yesterday) did! Once the counting in Pennsylvania showed Biden had moved into the lead, it was just a few minutes later that they called it. Joe Biden will address the nation tonight in prime time. And Donald Trump is having a Twitter tantrum. I'll run down the latest news as it stands when we hit the air at 5ET. We'll chat with Will Bunch, columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer, as it all came down to Philly! Our other very timely guest today is Ion Sancho who served as the Leon County, FL Supervisor of Elections for 28 years, and was the Technical Advisor for the 2000 Florida Recount. He'll answer our many questions about how we got here.

I had to quickly update this morning's "What's News" after the count in PA turned in Biden's favor, and Decision Desk HQ called the race for Joe Biden. Once the rest of the news organizations jump on board, I'll record a special edition of What's News to celebrate!

Votes are still being counted, but it's looking more inevitable that Joe Biden will be the next President of the United States, and Donald Trump will be a one-term president. But it's close, and they're still counting in a handful of states that will determine the outcome. But the Democrats were decimated in the House and Senate. As he does every Thursday, Howie Klein of Down with Tyranny and the Blue America PAC joins us today for an election day post-mortem.

We made it through election day, but not without a ton of heartbreak! The landslide I was hoping for didn't materialize. In fact, the senate will shockingly remain under Republican control with Moscow Mitch returning as majority leader. The Democrats retain control of the House , but with a much smaller majority this time out. And for a while there, it looked like Trump might even eke out a win. But thankfully it appears that he'll be a one-term White House resident. During the first half-hour of the show, I'll go through some of the results and take your calls. And we have a couple of visitors, as Brad Friedman of the BradCast and Driftglass of the Professional Left Podcast stop by.

We made it to election day! Voting ends tonight in the 2020 presidential election, and we're all on pins and needles, hoping & praying that Donald Trump is soundly defeated tonight. It's Tuesday, so GottaLaff is here, which is perfect, as misery loves company. We'll try to keep the stress levels down and have some fun on the show today, as we count down the minutes until the election returns start rolling in tonight!

It's Election Day Eve, and everything is on the line. More than 96 million Americans have already voted; that's over 2/3 of the 2016 total number of votes cast in total.
