20201215 Nicole Sandler Show - Tuesdays with GottaLaff
Yesterday was an epic news day: Electoral College voted for Biden, Covid vaccinations rolled out nationwide, Bill Barr is out and more. Lots to talk about with GottaLaff, who's here every Tuesday. Last night, Biden addressed the nation and finally called out Trump for the nonsense he's pursuing. And today, Biden nominated Pete Buttigieg to be Transportation Secretary. Huh? We'll try to figure it all out today.

It's a busy Monday! The electors in the Electoral College are today casting their votes, making Joe Biden's victory official. Meanwhile, Trump and his minions continue spreading lies. A new campaign is beginning called Fact Flood. We'll speak with Debra Lavoy, the founder of the project, which you can learn more about at realityteam.org/factflood. But first, we'll speak with Adam Kellner, co-founder of Israel's Gush Shalom Peace Movement about the so-called peace deals the Trump administration is rolling out. 20201211 Nicole Sandler Show - A Gremlin-filled Start of the Holidays Show
We end the week with a busy show that embraces the whole holiday experience! We'll begin with a visit from Harry Shearer and Judith Owen. You know Harry from everything from The Simpsons to Spinal Tap. And you should know his wife, Judith Owen, an amazing singer, songwriter and natural comedian. For years, they've done a mini-tour each holiday season with their show, "Christmas Without Tears". This year, thanks to Covid, it's a virtual extravaganza, available to stream all weekend long. They'll share the details (but you can get it at nugs.tv beginning at 5ET tonight). Then, we'll move on to the holiday dinner table conversation. Who better to talk politics with than author/professor/historian Harvey J. Kaye? And you don't even have to deal with your idiotic uncle!

20201210 Nicole Sandler Show - Thursday with Howie Klein (and Greg Palast Too!)
As we inch ever closer to January 20, and the orange menace becomes further unhinged, things in Washington DC get more precarious. As he does every Thursday, Howie Klein of Down with Tyranny and the Blue America PAC will be here to help try to make sense of our very strange situation. Despite the nonsense being fed by Trump to his followers about "voter fraud," the only fraud continues to be the way the Republicans try to keep citizens - those who are more likely to vote for Democrats- from voting! Journalist Greg Palast has been investigating deep in that swamp, and today joins us, fresh from an Atlanta courtroom where the purging of 198,000 voters is being challenged!

20201209 Nicole Sandler Show - Political Discourse Disconnect
Many things just don't make sense. Donald Trump as president. The entirety of 2020. The fact that Republicans lie and continue to win big. I've been ranting about "opposite world" for years, and it's gotten worse in the years under Trump's rule. We won't be able to answer all of life's perplexing questions, but today's guest, Joe Romm, wrote a story for The Nation magazine, "Why Democrats Lose on Social Media While Republicans Lie and Win Big." It's a good place to start. Joe Romm, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Front Page Live joins us today to explain. Plus the latest news, rants and hopefully some laughs too.
