After a successful career in music radio in NY and Los Angeles (WPLJ, KLOS, KSCA and others), she returned to talk radio to host mornings on then-progressive talk WINZ/Miami. After a flip to sports, she moved to Air America Radio for a nightly show. When AAR went off the air on Jan 21, 2010, Nicole Sandler moved online where she continues to question authority daily at nicolesandler.com.

Today, we get in the wayback machine and go back a decade. On April 26, 2011, I attended what was billed as a Town Hall Meeting with my then-congressman Allen West. I tried to ask him a question about his vote to privatize Medicare. Instead, I was arrested and brutalized at the Broward County Jail. Today, we hear my first show back, during which I recounted all the details. It was April 28, 2011.

20210420 Nicole Sandler Show - Guilty On All Counts!
The verdict was announced in the Derek Chauvin trial for the murder of George Floyd right at the top of the show, and it was good news. He was found guilty on 2nd degree murder, 3rd degree murder and manslaughter. Guilty on all counts. It doesn't bring George Floyd back, but it's a huge win for humanity. Jack Rice, friend of the show and a criminal defense lawyer in Minneapolis checked in briefly. And we hung with Driftglass too...

20210419 Nicole Sandler Show - Guns Are Killing Us; Cops Are Too
Closing Arguments are going on today in the trial of Derek Chauvin, the cop who killed George Floyd by kneeling on his neck for over 9 minutes last year. Since the trial began on March 29, at least 64 people have died at the hands of law enforcement nationwide. And since we were shocked back into reality on March 16, when eight people were killed at three Atlanta-area spas, the US has had at least 50 mass shootings. Perhaps by showtime, Chauvin's defense attorney will have wrapped up his closing arguments, which the judge just interrupted for lunch! Minneapolis-based defense attorney Jack Rice returns for some final analysis as the case goes to the jury.

20210415 Nicole Sandler Show - Amazon/Labor Fail and Another Cop Killed Another Black Boy
Let's start with the shooting. The boy, Adam Toledo, was 13 years old. A Chicago cop saw him in an alley in the middle of the night and began chasing him. He told him to show his hands. He appears to have dropped something behind the fence which has been reported to be a gun. BUT, the video and stills taken from the video clearly show Adam Toledo's hands in the air right before the cop shot and killed him. He was 13. We are a broken country.
My guest today was Dave Jamieson, labor reporter for Huff Post, who wrote "How Amazon Crushed The Union Effort In Alabama"
