After a successful career in music radio in NY and Los Angeles (WPLJ, KLOS, KSCA and others), she returned to talk radio to host mornings on then-progressive talk WINZ/Miami. After a flip to sports, she moved to Air America Radio for a nightly show. When AAR went off the air on Jan 21, 2010, Nicole Sandler moved online where she continues to question authority daily at nicolesandler.com.

The Supreme Court's term is supposed to end at the end of June, so they're announcing their decisions on the remaining 20 or so cases they haven't yet ruled on over the next few weeks. Today we got three, including third SCOTUS challenge to the ACA (Obamacare). Today's Thursday, so it's Howie Klein of Down with Tyranny and the Blue America PAC. They've endorsed Chris Larson, who just jumped in the race to challenge Ron Johnson. Larson will join Howie and me. We'll refresh your memory about Larson, who was a hero in 2011 in fighting back against then-WI Gov Scott Walker.

20210611 Nicole Sandler Show - Reconnecting with Mark Thompson
As usual, we begin the show with a look at the latest news with a bit of snark and some outrage. Then we're going to change direction. In 1990, I joined KLOS in Los Angeles as producer of the Mark & Brian Show. For the next four years, I worked with Mark Thompson and Brian Phelps as their producer, helping propel the show to #1 in Los Angeles. It was the most fun I've had in a job, and also the most challenging. Today, I get to finally properly congratulate Mark Thompson for being inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame, and to reconnect with one of the most important people in my professional life.
