How to Get Rid of Negative Thoughts
How important is it to “Cancel” negative thoughts?Scientists say we have between 12,000 to 50,000 thoughts in a day, and our mind takes the negative approach to things 70% of the time. Globally speaking, since we must use our free will to connect to source or goodness, your mind, naturally, thinks about what you don’t have, what you can’t do.Not to get too scientific and I am in no way a biology expert, but I learned that the amygdala in the brain modulates the release of cortisol and other stress hormones, creating anxiety and fear.Anxiety is created by the unknown and other future-based factors, and is the usual cause of the cortisol release. Like a high-octane drink, cortisol gives us the energy jolt needed to overcome an emergency, but everything in life seemingly has become an emergency. Our brains now keep us on DEFCOM 5 alert with constant cortisol production resulting in serious health problems like high blood pressure and glucose levels. Even more damaging is the negative energy it attracts.Common sense tells us that chain drinking high-octane beverages will prove to be detrimental to our health. Similarly, we need to tell our brains to stop producing excessive levels of cortisol and start producing serotonin, which does all kinds of wonderful things for creativity, happiness and health. This is the scientific reason why we need to turn our thoughts around and make them positive and clear. This will reduce your anxiety and keep you open to learning.

How to Train, Coach, and Mentor Your Team | Road to Revenue #72
When people used to ask me the difference between a trainer, coach, and a mentor, I used to joke that the difference was the prices and thecertifications. Now, I define what it means to be an effective trainer, coach, and mentor differently.I define a (good) coach as someone who is able to bring the best out of you (and those around you). A trainer also wants to bring the best out of you, but they typically have a narrower area of focus and often work one-on-one. Amentor is someone who gives you the best of themselves, whether that is their knowledge, relationships, or even motivation.Tweet me @davidmeltzer your favorite takeaway from today's episode and come ask me questions live every Friday at 11:00 am PST / 2:00 pm EST. How to Attract What You Want in Life
Have you ever been in a personal or business situation where you thought you understood what was going on only to gain clarity later as to what the situation was all about, and it was nothing like you perceived it to be?You must be clear on what you want in order to create the velocity to put through your new value-based stable foundation. And what is velocity? This is the energy expended in stimulating the universe, which creates the efficiency of attracting. It is utilizing the abundant power of the universe in the most efficient manner to manifest and attract those things you desire faster by being connected to source, or “in the flow”. What is the flow of energy or being connected? Have you ever been on a basketball court and every shot from every angle you’ve put up has gone in? Being in “the zone” is the sports analogy to being “in the flow”. When you’re in the flow of the universe, you just know it. You are in harmony and peace with the universe”
