Building Your Brand | Road to Revenue #132
William Shakespeare was a genius in many ways, but there are two ideas of his which are crucial to building any brand. The first, which comes from the play As You Like It, is something that has become even more important over time: “All the world's a stage”. With the prevalence of platforms like social media, the entire world is truly our stage today, and we must take full advantage of that stage in order to build, grow, and sustain a brand. We can transmit our brand’s frequency anywhere, with countless access points and mediums to connect with others, enabling us to potentially reach billions with our message. Using what I call the Stage Theory allows us to turn moments into content that elevates our brand and spreads awareness for the value it brings others. The other piece of the Bard’s advice comes from the character Polonius in Hamlet: “This above all: to thine own self be true...”. Authenticity is a vital component of branding today, because the truth is what vibrates the fastest. Authentic truth is what connects us to others, logically and emotionally. The more truthful and authentic your brand’s message is, as well as the people sharing it, the better it will resonate with others. We don’t just want people to see or hear about the brand, we want them to feel it.

4 Values That Changed My Life For The Better
Everything in life, from the construction of a building to a relationship, requires a solid foundation, or it will crumble. If certain things are not in place, you’ll not be able to support all of the other things you wish to accomplish. We want that foundation and support to be solid. We want that foundation and support to be concrete with steel rods, not balsa wood.We want to create the best foundation to manifest things faster and more accurately. Values provide that foundation. No matter what you attract in your life, identify, prioritize, and utilize your own values to build the foundation that best will provide clarity, balance, and focus with confidence. Confidence in what you’re trying to manifest will attract what you desire.

Embrace Rejection & Learn to Love Hearing “NO”
For many of us, hearing no can be tough to handle. What I try and do is re- engineer the way that people think about getting a “No”. Think about it this way: What if I told you that you are 25 “No’s” away from getting what you want most? How excited would you be to get the first “No”? How about the 24th? Take the perspective that you are a finite amount of “No’s” away from getting to that “Yes”. We might not always know what that number is, we only know that we are one step closer.

3 Way to Build Your Brand
When I think about branding today, I look back at one person for inspiration, William Shakespeare. The Life Changing Lessons I Learned From Losing Everything
When I experienced bankruptcy for myself, I knew that I had a strong foundation to fall back on: my values. Take inventory of the values (personal, experiential, giving, and receiving) that make you who you are now and then imagine the person you want to become. Build around the values those people have in common. When you start from a strong foundation, whatever your core values may be, you will have to find people to help drive you forward in your goals. Having a set of principles and standards will attract the right people around you, and it will also empower you to cut ties with associates who aren’t a great fit. It will prepare you to foster beneficial relationships with family, friends, business associates, and even develop mentoring relationships. We must not only think, say, and do the right things to attract the right people. We must also believe the right things and even carry the right energy. This can happen only if we incorporate our values into every aspect of our life and business. If we want to live a grateful life for example, we cannot only think grateful thoughts. We must take grateful action as well, show this gratitude for ourselves and others consistently and with persistence.Tweet me your takeaway from today’s episode @davidmeltzer Email Me! david@dmeltzer.comSign up for my Free Weekly Training https://free.dmeltzer.com/friday-training-1Text Me! Why 90% of People Lose Money in a Recession
In general, there are three types of businesses in a recession: those that are doing well, those that are stable, and those that are struggling. When making investments during a recession, I tend to place more emphasis on stability and industries or companies that have shown a historic ability to withstand those times. Look for investment opportunities that offer consistency in good and bad economic times, rather than looking to create massive returns.Tweet me your takeaway from today’s episode @davidmeltzer Email Me! david@dmeltzer.comSign up for my Free Weekly Training https://free.dmeltzer.com/friday-training-1Text Me!
