Sara starts by sharing her story, how she committed to turning her life around with the 12 step program, and why she wanted to become a lawyer! She is now 6 years sober, married with two kids. Sara is kind enough to share her story about applying for the bar and going through the Character and Fitness process. She had to share all about her criminal history, revealing everything! When the board 1st saw her application, they didn’t approve her but had her come in for an interview. One of the 4 options the board can pick from for an applicant. As of August 2021, the Oklahoma Bar approves Sara as a FIT junior attorney and we couldn't agree more! Alison went to Florida International University, where she majored in psychology and criminal justice, and she shares that psychology helped the most with law school because she had to write a TON! Back in 2018 Alison started doing creative work for the law firm she was at. This summer she is currently working at two labor and employment law firms.
