671: Championship game previews, predictions, DFS lineups, and more...

Scott Engel and Dane Martinez open the show looking at the latest previews for the Championship games, with Scott saying the Rams are the least likely to make it to the Super Bowl this year. The guys talk about what the Rams' gameplan will be against the Saints, and wonder if they will go with their new found running game with Todd Gurley and CJ Anderson, or if Jared Goff will become a gunslinger, throwing all over the Superdome. Looking at the AFC game, the guys wonder if the Chiefs' secondary is too weak for the Patriots' scheme, and if Julian Edelman will take the underdog role and go off on Sunday. #FNTSY #NFL #ChampionshipWeekend #Rams #Saints #Chiefs #Patriots #TomBrady #PatMahomes #DrewBrees #JaredGoff #ToddGurley #CJAnderson #TyreekHill #KansasCity #NewOrleans #JulianEdelman #RotoExperts Learn more about your ad-choices at https://news.iheart.com/podcast-advertisers

670: News and notes, Jags making moves, Championship game previews, DFS lineups, and more...

Dane Martinez and Scott Engel open the show talking about the Jaguars hiring John DiFilippo as their new offensive coordinator, and how that could open the door for Nick FOles to become the next quarterback in Jacksonville. The idea that the Panthers are looking at other quarterbacks, including Colin Kaepernick, has Dane and Scott wondering how bad Cam's shoulder really is, and if Kaepernick would finally be wearing an NFL jersey come next season. Scott and Dane look at some possible DFS plays for the Chapionship Weekend, with Scott saying Julian Edelman is a great play in that he is looking for his 12th straight game with over five catches, and Dane finds it hilarious that the Patriots are playing the roll of the "underdog".  #FNTSY #NFL #Panthers #Jaguars #Patriots #Saints #Chiefs #Rams #JaredGoff #ToddGurley #CJAnderson #RobertWoods #PatMahomes #TomBrady #JulianEdelman #BetAgainstUs #DrewBrees #AlvinKamara #MarkIngram #CamNewton #NickFoles #ColinKaepernick #JohnDiFilippo Learn more about your ad-choices at https://news.iheart.com/podcast-advertisers

669: Cam Newton news, early mock draft, Championship previews, QB carousel, and more...

Dane Martinez and Scott Engel open the show talking about the Panthers coming out and saying Cam Newton could sit out the 2019 season due to shoulder problems, with Scott telling keeper and dynasty owners to look for other options either in the draft or looking at the trade market. Cam's backfield partner, Christian McCaffrey, is considered a Top 5 fantasy running back, but wonder if Cam sitting out would hurt or help Run CMC. Doug Pederson coming out and saying Carson Wentz is the Eagles starting quarterback has the guys questioning where Nick Foles will be next season, with Scott saying he will be a starter in 2019\. Looking at where Kyler Murray will go in the NFL draft (if he doesn't sign with the Oakland A's), the guys think only the Giants, Jaguars, Redskins, and Dolphins are the only teams in need of a field general, though Dane says the Panthers, fearing the worst of Cam Newton, could also be in the market for a QB. Dane and Scott rank the top free agent and trade bait at the QB position, with the guys liking new homes for Nick Foles, Ryan Tannelhill, and Teddy Bridgewater. Looking at the betting odds for the Super Bowl, Dane looks at the odds differences between betting on FanDuel and MyBookie, with Scott saying either site he would bet on the Chiefs.  #FNTSY #NFL #Panthers #CamNewton #RunCMC #Eagles #NickFoles #CarsonWentz #KylerMurray #Giants #DwayneHaskins #Jaguars #Redskins #Dolphins #Lions #RyanTannehill #Saints #Rams #Patriots #Chiefs Learn more about your ad-choices at https://news.iheart.com/podcast-advertisers

668: Adam Gase press conference, Antonio Brown marketing, future of Kyler Murray, Eagles QB future, and more...

Dane Martinez and Scott Engel open the show looking Adam Gase's first press conference as Jets head coach, with the collective thought that to the say the least, it was weird. Dane brings up how Antonio Brown has scrubbed all of his social media accounts of any Steelers paraphernalia and that apparently, he wants to play for the 49ers, with Scott saying a move to get Brown would make the Steelers much more relevant. The idea that Kyler Murray will declare for the NFL draft has Dane and Scott wondering if Murray is better suited for football or baseball, with Scott saying Murray has stated he loves football first and will probably be in the NFL draft, even though he is on the smaller side. Dane says the Eagles franchise QB is Carson Wentz, and they have "squeezed all the juice" out of the Nick Foles magic, but Scott says if he was a GM, he would keep Nick Foles, and see about the trade market for Wentz. The argument of Foles or Wentz comes down to Dane wanting the younger and more talented Wentz, and Scott wanting the pedigree and chemistry building with Foles.  #FNTSY #NFL #Jets #AdamGase #Dolphins #AntonioBrown #49ers #Steelers #KylerMurray #RussellWilson #DrewBrees #Eagles #NickFoles #CarsonWentz #AmariCooper #DougBaldwin Learn more about your ad-choices at https://news.iheart.com/podcast-advertisers

667: Divisional round recap, Chiefs running game, winning the the trenches, and more...

Dane Martinez and Scott Engel open the show looking at the winners of the Divisional round playoffs, starting with the Chiefs coming up big against the Colts, with Dane and Scott agreeing that the game was won along the offensive line, and getting pressure on Andrew Luck. Dane also questions if the Chiefs, already looking strong in the run game with Damien Williams, would benefit from trying to sign someone like Tevin Coleman, Mark Ingram, or Le'Veon Bell. The guys look at the Patriots dominating the Chargers, with Scott saying everyone wants to see the end of the New England dynasty, but the fact is as long as Brady and Belichick are breathing, they will be there in the Championship games. The guys like the narratives among the Championship games, with the possiblity of pitting the two legendary quarterbacks in Tom Brady and Drew Brees, or even the new guards in Jared Goff and Pat Mahomes. Scott and Dane look at the hard running renaissance of CJ Anderson, and if the Rams have found some sort of thunder to the lightning of Todd Gurley. Looking at the future of the Chargers, the guys look at the 2019 fantasy values of Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, and also wonder if we have seen the last of Antonio Gates, or at the least the last of him as a Charger.  #FNTSY #NFL #DivisionalPlayoffs #Chiefs #Colts #Chargers #Patriots #Cowboys #Rams #Saints #Eagles #AFC #NFC #DamianWilliams #MarkIngram #CJAnderson #KeenanAllen #MikeWilliams #AntonioGates Learn more about your ad-choices at https://news.iheart.com/podcast-advertisers
