The US government is now trying to make an example of the Commanders after uncovering what looks like a scheme to hide millions from other teams and the NFL. Woof. Today’s word of the day is ‘all rise’ as in stand up as in get on your feet as in the judge has entered the courtroom as in Aaron Judge turned down a massive extension from the New York Yankees. It was about $30M a year. Making Judge one of the highest paid players in the league and would take him through his age 38 season. Seems reasonable. Judge said no. The extension would put him into the Top 15 in terms of contract money/length. Will Judge leave the Yankees for more money? (14:40) Tiger Woods returned to golf at the Masters. He played okay. He made the cut which was the most important thing. Good to see him back. (16:40) Dwayne Haskins was tragically killed this past weekend. It’s a horrible story with a horrible end. NFL Insider Adam Schefter broke the story and his choice of words got him in deep trouble with Twitter. What was Schefter’s plan? Why did he say what he said?
