In this sixty sixth episode in a series of discussions, I'm joined once again by Kemi Ingram, Jonathan Pageau, and Calvin Robinson.  We discuss the symbolic nature and role of identity, communities, and what it means to be embodied souls in communion with the God of the cosmos.   Kemi is an Orthodox Christian educator, writer, advocate, and home-schooling mother of three. Since 2005, she has worked to mobilize parents around issues effecting children and families. She holds a bachelor's in public policy, management, and planning from the University of Southern California, a master's in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and an M.Th. in applied theology from Oxford University.   Calvin is a seminarian, GB News presenter, former teacher, a writer, and a political commentator. He has written for several publications including The Telegraph, The Daily Mail and Times Educational Supplement.    Jonathan is a YouTube star, who also carves Eastern Orthodox and other traditional images.  He designs products, teaches, and makes videos for The Symbolic World that explore how reality lays itself out and how ancient patterns can re-enchant our contemporary life.

In this sixty third episode in a series of discussions, I'm joined by Dr Carlo Lancellotti.  Prof. Carlo Lancellotti is a Professor and Chair in the Department of Mathematics at the College of Staten Island. He received his Doctorate in Applied Mathematics from the University of Virginia in 1998. His main field of scholarship is the kinetic theory of plasmas and gravitating systems. He has also translated and edited two volumes of works of 20th-century Italian political philosopher Augusto Del Noce. He is one of the organizers of the New York Encounter, a large week-end long cultural festival held once a year in New York City. He was one of the co-founders of the Crossroads Cultural Center, which for over fifteen years has been organizing cultural events around the country.

Welcome to More Christ, where we seek to bring some of the world's most interesting and insightful guests to discuss life's central and abiding questions. In this sixty first episode in a series of discussions, I'm joined by the delightful Dr Hugh Ross.   Astrophysicist Hugh Ross is the founder and president of Reasons to Believe (RTB), an organization dedicated to demonstrating the compatibility of science and the Christian faith.  Intrigued by astronomy from childhood, Ross became the youngest-ever director of observations for Vancouver’s Royal Astronomical Society at age 16. He completed his BSc in physics at the University of British Columbia and MS and PhD in astronomy at the University of Toronto. For postdoctoral studies, the National Research Council of Canada sent him to the California Institute of Technology, where he researched galaxies and quasars. In 2012, Ross, together with Dr Gerald Schroeder, received the Ide P. Trotter Prize presented by Texas A&M University in recognition of his work in demonstrating connections between science and religion.  While leading RTB and keeping a close eye on the scientific literature, Ross also remains on the pastoral team at Christ Church Sierra Madre. His writings include journal and magazine articles and numerous books—Weathering Climate Change, The Creator and the Cosmos, and Improbable Planet, among others. He has spoken on hundreds of university campuses as well as at conferences and churches around the world.  Ross lives in Southern California with his wife, Kathy.

In this fifty eighth episode in a series of discussions, I'm joined by Dr Os Guinness. Os Guinness is an author and social critic. Great-great-great grandson of Arthur Guinness, the Dublin brewer, he was born in China in World War Two where his parents were medical missionaries. A witness to the climax of the Chinese revolution in 1949, he was expelled with many other foreigners in 1951 and returned to Europe where he was educated in England. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of London and his D.Phil in the social sciences from Oriel College, Oxford. Os has written or edited more than thirty books, including The Call, Time for Truth, Unspeakable, A Free People’s Suicide, The Global Public Square, Last Call for Liberty, and Carpe Diem Redeemed. His latest book, The Magna Carta of Humanity: Sinai's Revolutionary Faith and the Future of Freedom, was published in 2018. Since moving to the United States in 1984, Os has been a Guest Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Studies, a Guest Scholar and Visiting Fellow at the Brookings Institution, and Senior Fellow at the Trinity Forum and the EastWest Institute in New York. He was the lead drafter of the Williamsburg Charter in 1988, a celebration of the bicentennial of the US Constitution, and later of “The Global Charter of Conscience,” which was published at the European Union Parliament in 2012. Os has spoken at many of the world’s major universities, and spoken widely to political and business conferences across the world.
