Respond | Brooke Lovingood  | Saturday MorningIt’s not always easy to love and be faithful to the Lord. There are forces and things pushing against our desires for Him. We have to put in effort and fight the enemy attacking our minds. In Mark 4 it can remind us to think about and be aware of the soil of our souls. Let’s grow in our knowledge of God's word by letting it be planted in rich deep soil. This makes sense, when we get saved it doesn’t mean we are perfect by any means. We are just beginning our walk and we get tired. Some handle this better than others, but either way during these seasons we need to dig deeper in God's word. In this we learn to encounter Christ through our identity, his Word, walking daily in obedience, and serving others in the season of life you are in. DNOW | Brody Holloway | Saturday Night Every Christian has a responsibility to contend for the faith. We’re called to work for the advance of the Kingdom of God. Christ calls us to action. Pay attention when you open the Word of God. Let’s learn to think critically and defend the faith in our own minds. We must guard ourselves against a creeping ideology that undermines, changes, and attacks the Word of God. Let’s stand authoritatively with the Scripture. We get no time off when it comes to contending for the faith. In order to spot these wolves and protect ourselves against false teaching, we need to know the Bible. So let’s take action as the body of Christ. Be Strong | Brody Holloway | Friday NightChrist will guard you, keep you and protect you. Believers, we live in a world that is constantly trying to undermine the timelessness of God’s Word. In Jude 1:1-4, Jude encourages believers and calls us to contend for the faith. God’s purpose for you is that you’ll be shaped more into the image of Christ. Jude was a brother and servant to Jesus. He presents himself in this letter, as a slave to someone who purchased him. Be Strong | Rob Conti | Sunday MorningThe Levitical priesthood was designed to point to something better. Christ is superior because His priesthood will never end. There is now no need to sacrifice bulls and goats to make atonement for our sin. Christ’s work was finished on the Cross. Then what does it mean for Jesus to be our Great High Priest?Through Christ’s death, He offers us eternal redemption. This means we’re no longer separated from God. The throne of judgment has now become the throne of grace and mercy. We can come boldly to Him in prayer. We are now priests. Men, we can approach the throne of God on behalf of those around us. Too many of us allow other things to define us, but they should have no control over our lives. The power of the Gospel is never overpowered by our sin. What does it look like to live sacrificially?
