For 30 years Scott has studied our planets metabolism aiming to better understand how plants and soils interact with atmospheric CO2. Episode 20: Hudson Maynard
Hudson Maynard is a homebuilder, former Iron Man competitor, and current Crossfitter who competes in the 50+ category locally at Prowess Fitness in Seekonk, MA. Hudson has been an athlete in every sense of word since childhood when he earned the nickname "Full Speed Maynard" for his non-stop mentality. Hudson has also been sober for 10 years after giving up alcohol cold turkey in 2012. We discuss this at length, as well as how alcohol impacted our relationship through my formative years, and how we repaired the damage together.
My father has experienced some unique adventures including sailing around the world on a wooden boat built by my grandfather as well as riding his bike across the country on a solo journey. We discuss all of these exciting topics.

Episode 019: Todd Anderson
Todd started as a fullback for Michigan State University and moved on to play in the NFL for the Rams in 2012. In retirement, he took his passion for the strength and conditioning side of the sport to performance coaching. He started as a trainer and moved quickly into management. He is a certified strength and conditioning coach and trained Katie to best times at the end of her career. Todd has also trained a variety of athletes from high school to professional in swimming, tennis, soccer, lacrosse, baseball and football.
Additionally, Todd is a sleep coach and conducts team and corporate seminars with Fortune 500 companies on topics which include sleep, brain health and stress.

Episode 018: Jason Kasper
Jason Kasper enlisted in the US Army in June 2001. His first assignment was as a Ranger private, where he conducted operations in Afghanistan and Iraq before attending West Point. Jason then served as an Airborne Infantry and Special Forces officer, deploying multiple times to Afghanistan and Africa.
During his off-duty time he began running marathons and ultramarathons, skydiving, BASE jumping, and writing fiction. His last Army assignment was as a Green Beret team commander. Upon returning from his final deployment in 2016, Jason began his second career as an author with the publication of his debut novel, Greatest Enemy.
