Carrie Tollefson is a former middle-distance runner from Minnesota. She won the 1500m at the 2004 US Olympic Trials and made it to the semi finals in the 2004 games in Greece. Carrie attended Villanova University and got a degree in communications. She continues to make her home in Minnesota with husband Charlie and her three children. Carrie is the host of the C Tolle Run Podcast. She also works as an analyst and broadcaster for a variety of media outlets covering events such as the NYC Marathon and most recently the Olympic Games.

The Joy of Trail Running (Bonus Episode!)
In this bonus episode Trevor sits down with Doug Mayer, founder of Run the Alps, to discuss the joys of trail running. Doug shares his biggest tip for achieving longevity in running, and describes the unique trail races in France, Switzerland, and Italy.
Doug Mayer grew up in the US, cross country skiing in New Hampshire’s White Mountains with his older brothers. In a past life he worked as a Producer for the NPR show Car Talk. Today he runs his business Run the Alps and writes for a number of trail running media outlets, including Outside, Trail Runner, and Ultrasignup. His latest book is Run the Alps Switzerland: 30 Must-Do Trail Runs. He lives in Chamonix, France with his partner and dog Izzy.

The Tour du Mont Blanc (Recap of our Running Adventure)

Jasmin Paris became the first woman to complete the Barkely Marathons, finishing in 59:58:21, just 99 seconds inside the cut-off time.
She received significant media attention in 2019 for her overall win at the Spine Race where she set a new race record finishing the 268 miles (431.3 km) in 83 hours 12 minutes and 23 seconds, becoming the first woman to win the event overall.
Paris has an undergraduate degree from the University of Liverpool (2008) and a Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh (2020). She is a small-animal vet and a senior lecturer in the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at the University of Edinburgh. She and her husband and two children and make their home in Scotland.
