Ep 117 - 2022 Review #4 - Dr Jay-Lee Nair, David Galbraith, Hugh Gilmore and Jonah Oliver
Review #4 is where I bring together the podcasts I did with Dr Jay-Lee Nair, David Galbraith, Hugh Gilmore and Jonah Oliver and the theme of this one is psychology. These were 4 great guests and there was so many good takeaways from them, I do enjoy going back to the full episodes and listening to them and I pick up stuff I never heard the first time, or at least landed differently. Ep 116 2022 Review #3 - Dr Oliver Runswick, Stuart Morgan, Cal Jones
In this weeks 2022 year in review I review my sessions with Dr Oliver Runswick (Ep 88), Stuart Morgan (Ep 97) and Cal Jones. (Ep 113)The focus this week is mainly on skill acquisition and how that is evolving, but equally how we need to be careful as it evolves. That is what you have to love about coaching, the more you think you are getting a handle on it, the more you realise you have to learn, which is why I love it. These guys were great and I hope this inspires you to go back and listen to their original episodes. If you enjoy the podcast and want to leave a review that would be appreciated.Send us a textSupport the showhttps://talkingperformancepod.com/

Ep 110 - Wayne Smith (REPUBLISHED EPISODE )
This is a Re Published Episode from May 6th 2020 when we had Wayne on as our first ever guest. I thought it was appropriate to re post this based on what Wayne has achieved with our Black Ferns in what has to be one of the greatest turn arounds in NZ sporting history. Now it would be unfair to give all the credit to Smithy as he would be the first to admit he has had an outstanding team of coaches with him and it was the girls who had to do the work, but it is hard to look past the influence he has had. He has committed to coaching this team his way, like Crystal said last week, no one will out work Smithy and he would have given this everything and it was so cool to see.I have been blessed to have him as my mentor for the last 10 years after I wrote an email asking him, I have learnt more from him than anyone and he truly is a master coach and the fact that he responded by agreeing to be my mentor, a golf coach he had never heard says so much about the manI love him and I love this episode and I trust you will too, even if you have heard it before it is worth another listen.Send us a textSupport the showhttps://talkingperformancepod.com/

Ep 108 - Amelia Garvey Rookie Golf Professional
This week I chat with Amelia Garvey who is a young kiwi golfer at the beginning of her professional journey.I had no intention of publishing this as a podcast, Amelia had agreed to jump on a zoom with some of our young aspirational players and I loved it so much I asked if I could publish it. It has been great to watch Amelia grow both on and off the golf course and I am sure we will see a lot more of her in the future. Send us a textSupport the showhttps://talkingperformancepod.com/
