Stop trying to be in two places at once – it makes you way less productive. Focus on one task at a time. Stop multi-tasking, which is difficult on the brain and makes us less effective and efficient. Strategy 2 – Use cognitive steps to encourage good behavior and discourage bad behavior. Example 1: Make it easier to go to the gym by packing your gym bag and putting it by the door – increasing the chances you hit the gym. Example 2: To discourage yourself from playing with your phone while you are working, put the phone in the other room.
