Growing up in a rough environment, the military was his way out, however upon his return to civilian life he was homeless and dealt with severe mental health issues. Thankfully, he found fitness, which changes his life, starting with his mindset.

Liam Donnelly is a Canadian pro triathlete, future Olympic hopeful, student & entrepreneur! In this episode he shares his daily routine managing a full course with training 5-7 hours a day, his long-term process focused mindset (key!), his experience making the transition to pro events, as well as his training, nutrition, and recovery. I was extremely impressed by Liam's process focused mindset. It's hard to be that dedicated as a young athlete to something that may not pay off how you envision it to until 8 years down the line. Whether you're an athlete or not, endurance enthusiast or not, this podcast has some great insights on what it means to be dedicated as a student athlete - or anyone with a long term vision.

Justin Roethlingshoefer is a former pro hockey player & CrossFit games athlete who turned his focus into helping others become elite. He takes a scientific and data based approached to everything he does, & is an expert on all things wearables & HRV (heart rate variability). Justin experienced a truth many successful people are constantly encountering. He reached the pinnacle of his profession as a strength and conditioning coach, working in the NHL. However, Justin discovered that his overall happiness and contentment with life was nonexistent. In this episode 2x Olympian (and Tokyo hopeful) Liz Gleadle joins Nat to talk about their similar experiences with sleep, anxiety, and learning in 2020 as things in the World changed - and the data their Whoop bands have shown in reflection to this. We chat about why we think these data trends may be happening as well as a strategy of what we are going to do to about them to learn more and reflect on the exact reasoning. Level of anxiety & decision fatigue
Voyeurism / Social Media Scrolling time (time spent mindlessly scrolling, not time spent creating / sharing)

Manteo Mitchell broke his leg halfway through the opening lap of the men's 4 x 400m prelims at the London Olympics and KEPT GOING. His team went on to set a record breaking time, unknown to them that he had broken his leg at the very start of the race. Overcoming adversity is not new to Manteo, which he uses to inspire others.
