Lona's Story
Lona drops in and shares her incredible journey with us. She talks about memories of scary church plays, feelings of rejection for being gay, thoughts of suicide, and the challenges facing both closeted and open gay humans. She lived through abusive relationships, drinking daily for 6 years, and the constant self doubt and self-loathing. Lona has been sober for 16 months, and some of her keys to recovery are getting involved with the fellowship, working the steps, working with others, and finding freedom from negative self talk!

Jenn's Story
This week, my other friend, Jenn... joins us and shares her story. It starts with major changes at an early age, which led to feelings of not fitting in and her rebellious teen years. Although she knocked on the doorway to recovery early in her life, she was able to stick with recovery after going through an adolescent focused recovery treatment center. Since then she dedicates both her professional and personal time to helping some of the most vulnerable humans. Thank you for your time and thank you for all that you do out there, my friend.

Mike and Katherine
This week we sat down with Mike and Katherine. We talked about recovery, aliens, consciousness, discernment, conspiracy, and other things I know very little about. I left this podcast wondering about many, many things. Thankfully Darcy Robinson was there to revive me after I collapsed beneath the mountain of information Mike and Katherine provided. It was a lot of fun and they are wonderful humans. Thank you both for blowing my mind...

Jim's Story
Jim joins us, sharing his story from childhood into young adolescence where alcohol slowly replaced his other mechanisms of survival. Jim learned early on that he could use his Asthma to gain attention and he used that whenever he could. He believed that drinking was a rite of passage, which he justified and allowed it to become more and more dominant in his life. His first steps to recovery came after a major car accident while he was under the influence. He struggled with recovery until he started to make spiritual connections, allowing that to help him find the courage and strength to remain sober.
