He has seen a lot of tech come and go but the current crop has intrigued him like nothing that has come before. The windmill at which he chooses to tilt are the technology practices of traditional enterprises. Glenn Block is a seasoned leader with 25 years+ experience in software engineering and product management. He is currently working on a stealth startup and also advising organizations on product strategy. Throughout his career, he worked at a number of hi-tech companies including Microsoft, Docusign, Auth0, and Splunk. Glenn has been a big advocate for the open source and developer community and was a maintainer for several successful open source projects. In recent years, Glenn has been very passionate about moving the ball forward for creating a more inclusive and safe environment in tech. He invests a large amount of his energy in mentoring, advising, and sponsorship especially for black women, women of color, and the LBTQ community. He has also worked in multiple organizations to change culture and policies, and has been active with multiple non-profit organizations in this space such as TechBridge Girls and Tech2Empower. Most recently, Glenn became a volunteer fellowship coding instructor at Code Nation. Glenn is a lifelong learner and recently went back to school receiving his executive MBA at Seattle University. He is also an avid rock climber and amateur astronomer. Andy is a Developer Relations professional at Twitter.  Prior to joining Twitter in 2014, Andy was Developer Advocate for Cloud Foundry, the OSS Platform-as-a-Service, at VMware/Pivotal. Earlier, he spent 10 years at IBM; and 4 years at the UK Post Office, where he helped the company navigate the challenges of Y2K. Andy has over 20 years of experience with Linux, and with contributing to Open Source projects. Joe Beda is a technologist with a history of working across many parts of our industry from web browsers to real time communication systems to cloud computing.  He started his career at Microsoft working on Internet Explorer and client platforms before moving on to Google. During his tenure at Google he started Google Compute Engine and helped start Kubernetes. He then co-founded Heptio and, after 2 years, sold it to VMware.
