Be Grateful Everyday. Episode 74 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL). Guest: Nick Santonastasso.

If Nick Santonastasso can wake-up grateful every day, what's your excuse? At 21 years old, he already holds rank as an internet sensation and fitness champion and is now making rounds as a motivational speaker whose story resonates with audiences worldwide. What makes Nick such an inspiration? Nick was born with Hanhart Syndrome, a rare condition that affects the development of limbs and organs. With a 30% chance of survival, Nick was fortunate that his organs were unaffected by the defect. Instead, Hanhart Syndrome deprived him of both legs and a portion of one arm—which hasn't stopped him one bit. From voluntarily amputating the remainder of his right arm so that he could compete on the school wrestling team to waking up every day in a determined state of gratitude, Nick Santonastasso's story is nothing short of remarkable. "I realized early on that he world isn't going to stop for me just because I was born like this," he tells Brad. "Life is fast; it's important to keep perspective." So, we'll ask you again, what's your excuse?

Do More, Get More. Episode 73 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL). Guest: Carly Evaristo.

Brad sits down with Carly Evaristo to chat about the attitude of gratitude and how to ride the line between being thankful, staying hungry—and the stress of wondering if what you did was good enough. Does Brad ever get stressed? Nope. "The less you give a fuck, the happier you'll be," he says. "Most people are risk-averse. But, think about the last damn thing you worried about. Did everything turn out okay? Most likely, now everything is fine, and you're on your way." So, what IS the sweet spot between avoiding comfort and getting stressed? It's simple: Lean in. Do the best you can. Stand in your convictions. Be confident in who you are and what you do. And, always, ALWAYS give 100%.
