Deconstructing the European Training Model w/Glenn Pendlay & Chris LeRoux
Chris, Glenn and I go in depth on the European model that was introduced in the early 90s to the OTC residents by the Romanian coach Dragomir. Chris holds the Olympic Training Center record for most repetitions done in a week at over 75%. His work capacity was and still is tremendous. Glenn and Chris broke down the idea that training is a science and compared it more to an art than anything else. The rigid structure of the Soviet programs is, in their eyes, outdated and lacking in individualism.Chris LeRoux first competed at the Jr Olympics in 1988 and went on to set 6 American Records, qualifying for 2 Olympic games, and competing at the World Championships. This is one of my favourite episodes to date and I am excited to hear some feedback from you guys about it.https://www.patreon.com/weightliftinghouseVirus EU -20% code - weightliftinghouseweightliftinghouse.com
