Ways to get involved:
Reach out to your representatives and demand change.
Vote! - Look up when your primary elections are happening and research which constituents have an agenda for change. I know that in New York- registering for an absentee ballot to be mailed wherever you are took less than 2 minutes. Just got to www.vote.nyc
Donate - giving your time and/or money to organizations, large and small, that need and will need aid gong forward.
Speak out against racism and injustice. Be willing to have uncomfortable conversations in person and online with people who are uninformed. If you are white, continue to process your internalized racism, shame and guilt with your friends and family. And then take action.
Support black artists, creators and entrepreneurs by buying from them and elevating their platforms. Make sure to credit their work!
Spend time educating yourself by reading, researching and listening to people, specifically black and brown people, who have more knowledge than you do.
