Whilst January was still active deals started to be pulled by February as the bubble started to simmer down. By March, we started to see the dry up and the sponsor activity and visibility disappeared from view. Then came some of the layoffs and some of the aggregators went on pause for new acquisitions of Amazon brands. We also discussed closing cash, claw backs and challenging buyer deals in non US/ UK territories in places like Singapore.
