Emotion needs to feel this complete quality of acceptance. Then, that degree of grounding allows it to be metabolized and released in seconds." - Johnny Blackburn "You can't Google 'wisdom.' There's going to be a time when memorization won't be so important and you can just Google the information. So, our presence, awareness, emotional intelligence - these are going to become more valued capacities." - Johnny Blackburn About Johnny Blackburn Johnny Blackburn is a professional coach, speaker & facilitator who empowers clients, organizations and audiences to discover and then live from their deeper Presence. Residing in San Diego, CA, he is a highly respected authority on human embodiment and professional performance. Power Quotes From The Show "When do you feel the most bliss? When are you fully in your body and experiencing joy? -Krystal Vbra @Refresh_Health "The coffee enema is specifically formulated for a liver detox. The liver is one of our most important detoxification organs. If we're not keeping it clean or supported, our health is going to suffer." - Krystal Vrba "We use coffee enemas because the coffee stimulates production and helps bind the toxins compared to something like saline solution or essential oils." - Krystal Vbra "Dropping into the feminine is unique for each person. For me, it's taking that time to say "No" to the rest of the world and say "Yes" to myself. It allows me to honor my natural rhythm in the world and give me what I need. This goes for both men and women." - Krystal Vbra "When do you feel the most bliss? When are you fully in your body and experiencing joy? Make a list of 10-20 things that bring you the most bliss. If you're not doing those things often enough, then there is a huge imbalance there. You have to create space in your schedule to them and the more you do them, the more you'll remember why they're so important to you and that will drive you to work hard." - Krystal Vrba 10% Off At Refresh Natural Health Get 10% off from your online purchase at the Refresh Natural Health online store including coffee enema kits! 144 RockTape Founders: Healing Yourself With Movement, Mobility, & Stability w/ Steven Capobianco & Greg van den Dries

Although most of us aren't training for the Olympics, we can still go for gold in our everyday activities. - Greg van den Dries Whether you're an Olympic athlete or a weekend warrior, we can all go for the gold every day by increasing our capacity for movement and reducing our pain and risk of injury. JOIN THE FACEBOOK GROUP | REVIEW THIS PODCAST Today we are live with Intelliskin at "Rock Stock 2017" with Greg van den Dries & Steven Capobianco, Founders of RockTape, as they explain how kinesiology tape and their various cutting edge tools are helping us increase our physical and emotional intelligence as we begin to move and fell better. Their elastic therapeutic tape and flagship product, RockTape, recoils in when applied to the skin and creates a biomechanical lifting effect which pulls the skin away from the underlying tissue. This lifting effect from the tape has 2 main functions. It stimulates skin receptors that communicate with the brain and reduces pain and increases your body awareness. Also, fluid dynamics are improved as skin is pulled away from the tissue to improve blood flow and swelling.     Links From Today's Show: Rock Tape Website  Facebook Twitter Instagram LinkedIn Intelliskin: Website Facebook Twitter Instagram Spartan Race Rock Docs RockBlades - Mohawk Rock Floss RockTape's IASTM Tools IASTM Courses American Chiropractic Association American Physical Therapy Association RockTape and USA Diving partnership IHRSA IDEA Health & Fitness Association IntelliSkin & Wellness Force Partnership Sports Chiropractor of the Year (Dr. Tim Brown - 1998) Wellness Force Facebook Community Rockstock 2018 - RockTape Listen To Episode 144 as We Uncovers: How to use kinesiology tape to improve mobility, prevent injury, and reduce pain The way tape mimics a mothers touch and stimulates receptors that bring relief How RockTape's superior design keeps the tape in place during exercise Using RockFloss compression bands to ‘unstick’ muscles and joints so they move better and with less pain How kinesiology tape can be applied as an active cure to assist with current injuries The "Rockblade" precision-engineered soft-tissue instruments used reduce pain by improving function of the tissue How RockTape can be used to promote faster recovery from training and injury Using functional taping for prevention based on your environmental requirements How coaches, trainers, and therapists can become a Certified FMT RockTape Medical Professional Understanding how the fusion of technology and wellness can improve our proactive care How functional taping techniques can increase the longevity of athletes The ways that sensor technology is transforming data collection the fitness market How to take the data we collect and adjust our routines appropriately Power Quotes From The Show   "Tape stimulates the same receptors as a mother placing her soothing hand upon your shoulder." - Greg van den Dries "Over the past 7 years, we have evolved from a tape-centric company to a movement company." - Greg van den Dries "The biomechanical lifting effect stimulates receptors in the brain that reduce pain and improves fluid dynamics." - Steven Capobianco "Application isn't the hard part, it's knowing when and why to use the tape." - Steven Capobianco "Trainers can use Rocktape as a tool to help guide their clients to better movement." - Greg van den Dries  "When we begin to move better, we start to feel better." - Steven Capobianco "Kinesiology tape is cheap and effective, and people of all experience levels can benefit from it's results." - Steven Capobianco "Every year our 'Roc Docs' recommend new products for their movement toolkit, and we deliver." - Steven Capobianco Rock Tape At RockTape, we make products that help people move better. Click To Order Rock Floss About Greg van den Dries Greg loves of running, cycling and swimming have contributed to a variety of minor sports injuries, and one of those injuries required physical therapy. The PT treated him and he finished the session by applying some tape to his leg. When he asked if this was the same tape he had seen during the Olympics, the answer was yes. Greg was skeptical about the tape, but after a week his injury was healing nicely and he also noticed that his legs felt pretty good after a long ride. He started doing more research on the tape’s effects and that’s when he discovered that the tape can be used to enhance performance. (Going stronger, longer…) After trying the tape on friends and family with good results, he got excited and talked to a number of companies about buying and selling the tape. The response Greg got was frankly, crazy: no one wanted to sell him tape unless he became “certified” in their specific taping methods. It was their way of making the tape more exclusive and expensive. He decided there had to be a better way to get this great product into the hands of those who needed it, so Greg located a source, modified the formula and formed RockTape. 143 Thaddeus Owen: The Truth About Biohacking

The health and wellness world can be a very confusing place at times, especially when it comes to the rise of self-proclaimed health experts who may not always have your best health and wellness in mind. This ocean of information online leads millions of people to the false-promised land every day from clickbait sites, facebook ads, and even more concerning now with a 2017 trend emerging towards getting the body, abs, and fitness people want in weeks rather than months, there is a new segment of our industry that is growing fast: Biohacking. But do the biohacking claims about using wires, lights, pills, tubes and devices truly stack up against the power of doing the deeper emotional inventory around why someone's health suffered in the first place? What is our body's response to blue light and how do we biohack for wellness in the EMF/WiFi congested and artificially lit up world that so many work and live inside of? Can we combine biohacking with the physical and emotional intelligence needed to live life well? Join us on Wellness Force Radio 143 as we answers these questions and explore the truth about biohacking with Thaddeus Owen, Co-Founder of PrimalHacker.   JOIN THE FACEBOOK GROUP | REVIEW THIS PODCAST   "Everyone's truth and exploration of life is on a different path. By cutting out the blue light, Thaddeus Owen says he sleeps much better and reduces potential problems with vision or cancers. Thaddeus is a sustainability manager, a national leader in developing a zero-waste philosophy within industry and turning sustainable ideas into reality. Along the way, he has become a passionate advocate for responsible use of technology and our daily encounters with blue light. He wears sunglasses indoors and at night, and thinks the rest of us should too. About Thaddeus Owen Thaddeus began his journey outdoors, camping and fishing as a boy in the Adirondacks and Central NY forests. After a decade spent developing pharmaceutical products, he just couldn’t face another day adding terrible ingredients like high fructose corn syrup and numerous red dyes into children’s medicine. He shifted gears and engineered a successful work from home assignment following Tim Ferriss’s 4 Hour Workweek. From there, he was able to find a way to incorporate more movement, nature and sunshine into his work environment. After learning about biohacking from the man who coined the term, Dave Asprey, Thaddeus healed his own anxiety, lowered his blood pressure and fixed his sleeplessness using biohacking, PrimalHacking and Qigong. He spends his free time experimenting on himself in hopes of helping others on their journey. He writes about his experiments on PrimalHacker.com. He also spends time with his two boys learning martial arts, shooting arrows at targets and hiking. Thaddeus is a certified Bulletproof Coach from the first ever class of coaches, holds a personal training certification, nutrition certification, Master’s degree in Holistic Nutrition and studied Chemical Engineering a long time ago. Chris has been studying, practicing, and teaching alternative medicine for more than fifteen years. He did his undergraduate work at UC Berkeley, and studied Chinese and integrative medicine at the Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine College, also in Berkeley. He has trained with world-renowned healers and educators in a variety of disciplines throughout the U.S., Thailand, and Indonesia. Chris’s work is informed by his own experience recovering from a chronic, complex illness which began while he was traveling in Southeast Asia in his early 20s. After seeing more than twenty doctors around the world and spending thousands of dollars in an effort to diagnose and treat his condition, Chris decided to take his health into his own hands. Through extensive study and research, continual self-experimentation, and formal training in integrative medicine, he recovered from this debilitating illness and went on to share what he learned with others through his popular blog, podcast, and private practice. Chris teaches and practices functional medicine, a personalized approach to health care that recognizes the biological uniqueness of each patient. In contrast to conventional care, which is almost entirely focused on suppressing symptoms, functional medicine eliminates symptoms by addressing the underlying cause of a problem. It is an evidence-based field of health care that views the body as an interconnected whole, and recognizes the importance of these connections in health and disease.
