Learn to “Play the Game” and Stop Worrying About the Perfect Swing with Rick Koscher
573 Rick Koscher TheGolfBetterCoach.com> gets frustrated with golfers and students who complain about inconsistency when they don’t actually understand how to make “golf shots”. He says “You cannot become a scratch golfer by staying on the driving range”. How many distances and locations can you hit a 7 iron? Most of us will say “about 150 yards”, but to be the best golfer possible, try to focus on hitting that club multiple distances, with a variety of ball flights. If you’re serious about lowering your scores, be creative, use your imagination, and practice on your weaknesses. Instead of buying golf clubs that are popular or new, Rick suggests getting fitted to clubs that "fit your swing".

Stop Trying to Change Your Swing All By Yourself with John Kantarski
571 John Kantarski specializes in left handed golf. But after teaching thousands of golfers, he’s also noticed how frequently golfers, left or right handed, also believe they understand what went wrong after each swing, just compounding the problem. No matter how good a golfer is, without proper training, it’s hard to make changes with the knowledge of cause and effect. A Hank Haney certified instructor, John shares his background making changes, fixes, and insights. Here’s the link https://youtu.be/_fjVwY_IY28> to the bonus video Fred mentioned at the end of the show. Fred sits down with Rocio Robles, General Manager of El Manglar Campo de Golf (Golf Course) Riviera Maya, Mexico. Operated by Vidanta Golf, El Manglar is a Jack Nicklaus Design 18 hole - Par 54 course. Even though each hole is a par 3, holes from the black tees (2923yds) range in length from 103-276 yards, with 10 of the holes being over 150 yards and 11 having water in play. The four longest holes, #4 (223yds), #13 (276yds), #14 (195yds), and #18 (195yds), all require you to carry either streams or lakes. We wouldn't be surprised if the slope from the back tees are over 133, but no rating or slope is offered. Inserted throughout the interview with Rocio, Fred provides commentary, photos, and video from his round and a time-lapse of the sunrise from the beach. This is an incredible property on the Caribbean coast of Mexico, south of Cancun, north of Playa del Carmen, that boasts 5 hotels, 14 impressive restaurants, the golf course, a large boutique that provides everything from groceries for your kitchen equipped condo, to a pharmacy, gifts, clothes, and more. Vidanta Riviera Maya also has a custom built 600 seat theatre for JOYA, the only Cirque du Soleil show in the world that has a full hour of pre-show entertainment while you indulge in champagne and an excellent dinner at your table be
