108: Become Fearless for the New Year
There’s a quote by Viktor Fankl I love that says, “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” It’s so empowering because even though we never know what’s going to happen or how our circumstances are going to change, the one thing we always have control over in life is how we react and respond. So after the fear and uncertainty that we’ve all had to deal with in 2020, how can we make sure that we show up in a way that attracts more of what we want into our lives for 2021? How can we stop letting fears hold us back and go for our dreams like never before? Even when it feels scary, uncertain and overwhelming? In this episode I wanted to chat to you about why we all need to show up as our most fearless selves in 2021 and how we can attract more of what we want into our lives, despite the fear, uncertainty and overwhelm that may surround us. How far would you go if you decided that 2021 is your time? Your year of taking fearless action? If you’re ready to find out, I want to help you! Join us for the free Fearless 2021 Challenge and let’s find out how far we can go when we no longer let fear stand in our way. For 5 days in December we’re going to come together, hold each other’s hands and step into our most fearless selves together so click below and don’t miss this amazing opportunity! 106: How to Create and Sell a Product Online
So many of us waste so much time thinking about our dreams and never doing anything about them. Before I took the leap to start FEA, I used to come up with ideas and then overthink and over complicate them until I felt like I should just forget about it. What happens really often when we have an idea to do something, is that we feel fired up and inspired at first. But the more we think about it, the more we question whether we can do it or if it will even work. In the end we just keep talking ourselves out of doing anything! If this sounds familiar, then this episode is for you! I want to chat to you about: - The biggest thing that kills dreams and ideas (and it has nothing to do with failure!). - The most important thing we all need to do to bring our ideas to life. - How to find answers and inspiration when you don’t know what to do. - Ways of coming up with a great idea to create and sell online. - How to get out of your own way so that you can create success and be of service. I hope this episode gets you fired up to start working on turning your ideas into something you can sell online - because I know how much success is in store for you if you do! I’m also really excited that I’ve been working hard putting all the knowledge I have about creating offers and selling them online into an online program, and that program is launching really soon! If you’re ready to go all in and finally turn those ideas that have been swirling around in your head into income, success and value for other people, sign up to the waitlist and you’ll be the first to know when enrollment opens! https://femaleentrepreneurassociation.com/createandsell Carrie xx

105: How To Write Copy That Sells
Your brand, business and offers come to life online through the words you use. Which is why as entrepreneurs, one thing we all have to learn how to do really well is copywriting. If you’ve been wanting to set up an evergreen funnel or you’ve been optimising an existing one, you know what a big part copywriting plays in the success of that funnel. In this episode of the She Means Business Show I’m joined by the amazing Prerna Malik, conversion copywriter and co-founder of The Content Bistro. She has written copy for top entrepreneurs like Pat Flynn, Amy Porterfield and Vanessa Lau, and in this episode she’s sharing: What an evergreen funnel is and why it’s so powerful for creating sales on autopilot. Her business journey from mummy blog to copywriting and how she worked with amazing entrepreneurs like Pat Flynn and Amy Porterfield. Her B.A.K.E. framework for writing copy that converts at every stage of your evergreen funnel. The biggest mistakes that keep entrepreneurs stuck when it comes to finding success with evergreen. Why you need to ask your audience for the sale multiple times and how to use different messaging. The types of stories you should be sharing with your audience. One thing to keep in mind to make writing copy so much easier and more authentic. I hope you love this episode and that it gives you loads of ideas to uplevel your copywriting and your evergreen funnel! 104: How To Lead Your Business Like A CEO (with Racheal Cook)
As entrepreneurs and visionaries, one of the most important qualities we need to have is the ability to be flexible in our thinking, our actions and our plans as things change around us (which happens all the time!). In this episode I’m joined by the amazing Racheal Cook, founder of CEO Collective, as we chat about her journey from starting her first business, to the success she has created by navigating change in her business like a CEO. In this conversation Racheal and I chat about: How she left the corporate job that burnt her out and leapt into entrepreneurship. The first business she started and how it has evolved and changed from there thanks to the feedback she got from her audience. How Racheal crafted her message and her offers around the needs of her dream customers. How she focused on results and serving her audience rather than the ideas, strategies or advice from other people in the industry. Why 90 day planning works so well and how to set goals you’ll actually achieve. Why we all need to overcome perfection and just share the crappy first draft of our offer with the world. How Racheal only works 25 hours per week in her business and how she redefined her role as CEO. Racheal is also the creator of two of our most popular masterclasses inside the Members’ Club: Live Your Dream Life Now and Lead Your Business like A CEO. 102: Andrea McLean on Finding The Courage To Live Your Best Life
In this episode I’m joined by the amazing Andrea McLean. If you’re in the UK, you’ll have seen Andrea on TV as part of the Loose Women panel! She’s done some incredible things and written 3 incredible books. No matter what our big goals are, whether that includes building a business at all, is the fact that we all just want to live our best lives and live happy lives. You can set goal after goal, but if you don’t actually know what makes you happy, those goals become hollow and will never make you feel fulfilled. In this chat, Andrea and I talk about: Why we all need to do what it takes to live happy, good lives and thrive rather than settling for just existing. So many of us are stuck in a place of just existing and letting our life make decisions for us. How we all have a pivot moment in our lives and how Andrea’s pivot moment involved jumping out of a helicopter and how that changed her life. How Andrea experienced trauma in her personal life and buried them. There was a trigger. Felt like there was a tiger in the room all day long and a constant anxiety. Became physically ill - like many successful entrepreneurs, just kept going until burn out couldn’t run away from it all. How she realised she no longer wanted some of the goals she had been chasing. How to align yourself with what brings you joy so that you can experience joy now rather than in the future.

100: My Journey to Building FEA
Welcome to the 100th episode of the She Means Business Show! Woohoo! When I pressed publish on that first episode back in January of 2017, I had so many ideas about what I wanted this podcast to be like. I wanted to interview successful female entrepreneurs and inspire others to start their own wildly successful businesses with amazing tips, inspiring stories and meaningful conversations. From that very first episode, the podcast has now grown to over 610,000 downloads, countless success stories and so much inspiration for so many women around the world who are walking in the direction of their dreams! To mark this special 100th episode occasion, we’re doing something completely different! Team FEA had a fun idea to put together a collection of clips and videos going all the way back to 2011, when I first started FEA - I haven’t seen these clips yet and what you’re going to watch (or listen to) is my first-time reaction! I’m so excited to take a trip down memory lane with you and to show you that we all just start off with a dream and an idea… no flashy videography, no huge audiences, no clue how to make it happen! But with determination - it’s absolutely incredible what we can achieve! Let’s dive into this together! Carrie xx
