She was introduced to the territory and some of the wines such as Panata, Vascellarus and Primo d’Anfora, a white wine fermented and sharpened in terracotta amphorae. The Argillae winery owes its name to the Latin word for the clay in which the terroir is rich. There are approximately 38 hectares of vineyards, situated at an altitude between 150 and 300 metres above sea level, with an east-west exposure on sunny hillsides. Its founder was Giuseppe Bonollo, who came from an important family of distillers.
