The Movie "Free Guy" The Hero's Journey with David Hoffmeister - Renovatio Residential Movie RetreatSo we're going for a movie tonight that follows the hero's journey. Typically in the projected world, we have heroes and villains, and the heroes are supposed to be succeeding and saving the day, and the villains are always doing bad things and so forth. Underneath is the stratification that says that heroes are different from villains. The heroes are the good ones, and the villains are the bad ones. What Jesus wants us to do is to be able to look on the world and see everything in the world as wholly the same. "Make this year different by making it all the same." He's saying that to see the world as all the same; you have to forgive the world because to the Holy Spirit, the world is neutral. So there aren't good bodies and bad bodies. There aren't hero bodies and villain bodies. There aren't those who are saving the day and those trying to destroy the day. The Holy Spirit sees the body as neutral because God didn't make the body. So the Holy Spirit sees its insignificance. And you might say that as you go deeper and deeper and deeper into spirituality, the one thing that will become more clear in your mind is the insignificance of the body. We can think of time and space as perception, as subjectivity. Each person perceives the cosmos, their body, and other people from the point of view of a private mind with private thoughts. And so everybody sees a private world which is entirely subjective, derived from what you believe. What you prefer to believe is the world that you see. And so, from a human perspective, people would say, Well, that is neat that there are seven billion different perspectives. Still, it's just a private world, and what you perceive is a pictorial representation of your consciousness. So our perception of time is very relative, which most of us can relate to because sometimes, when we are happy for no earthly reason, we lose track of time. You cannot wake yourself means the personality self doesn't have a contribution to make. The only contribution you have to make is your willingness in your mind. When you're willing to heal false and distorted perceptions and join with the might and the glory of the Holy Spirit's great willingness, or we could say, it's the capability for healing, which is its function in healing. When your little willingness joins with that capability for healing, healing is ignited. It's a dismantling of the self-concept, the image you believe you are, and the image you think the world is. If you're living a spontaneous life, where you're spontaneously inspired, and you have a wellspring of inspiration rolling through you every day, you're accepting your part in God's plan of salvation. Jesus says we each have a special part in the plan; what he's really saying is to let go of trying to control the world. Let go of trying to control the script. Let go of trying to control people. Don't plan your life; if you plan your whole life out, that's how you make God laugh because God didn't create linear time. So when you plan your entire future out, the angels are all laughing like, oh my god, what? All the great Mystics and Saints, all the avatars have always said, live in the present moment. The Movie "Ira and Abby" Allowing All “Unfinished Business” to Be Healed with David Hoffmeister - Weekly Movie Workshop.The number one theme deciding this week's movie was, Allowing All “Unfinished Business” to Be Healed; what could the unfinished business be, except unconscious beliefs that we're still hiding from the light? One time Helen Schucman was flying with Jesus, and they looked all over the world, all lifetimes and everything, and they almost missed Helen Schucman's entire life because it was just a blip. What we think of like our whole life is in the time-space dimension just a fraction of a second, as in the teeniest blip. If you could see your entire lifespan between birth and death as this tiny, minuscule little blip, then you would know what Shakespeare meant when he said Much Ado About Nothing. What a joke to think I got all bent out of shape and all upset and emotional and suffering over a tiny blip. Considering that the ego is a little puff of nothingness, it shouldn't surprise us that its world and its so-called physical lifetimes are blips too. You get a blip from a blip and eternity from eternity. You get the kingdom of heaven from God. So let's allow all unfinished business to be healed.
