But, accepting my part in God's plan for salvation is, in simple terms learning to come to live in the present moment. If you're living a guided life, you accept your part and God's plan. If you're living a spontaneous life, where you're spontaneously inspired, and you have a wellspring of inspiration rolling through you every day, you're accepting your part in God's plan of salvation. Jesus says we each have a special part in the plan; what he's really saying is to let go of trying to control the world. Let go of trying to control the script. Let go of trying to control people. Don't plan your life; if you plan your whole life out, that's how you make God laugh because God didn't create linear time. So when you plan your entire future out, the angels are all laughing like, oh my god, what? All the great Mystics and Saints, all the avatars have always said, live in the present moment. And so we're learning how to do that together. It's like we're all joined together with one purpose. The Movie "Ira and Abby" Allowing All “Unfinished Business” to Be Healed with David Hoffmeister - Weekly Movie Workshop.The number one theme deciding this week's movie was, Allowing All “Unfinished Business” to Be Healed; what could the unfinished business be, except unconscious beliefs that we're still hiding from the light? One time Helen Schucman was flying with Jesus, and they looked all over the world, all lifetimes and everything, and they almost missed Helen Schucman's entire life because it was just a blip. What we think of like our whole life is in the time-space dimension just a fraction of a second, as in the teeniest blip. If you could see your entire lifespan between birth and death as this tiny, minuscule little blip, then you would know what Shakespeare meant when he said Much Ado About Nothing. What a joke to think I got all bent out of shape and all upset and emotional and suffering over a tiny blip. Considering that the ego is a little puff of nothingness, it shouldn't surprise us that its world and its so-called physical lifetimes are blips too. You get a blip from a blip and eternity from eternity. You get the kingdom of heaven from God. So let's allow all unfinished business to be healed. What is perceived as insane in this world is actually a call to be sane. The end of the world is in the mind, but it can seem as if everyone isn’t ready to leave the world behind. All are called, but few choose to listen.Suppose all your problems came down to one error made and repeated repeatedly. That one error would be the belief in the ego. It sets up cycles of what seems to be reincarnation, even though who you are, is the Word of God, and the Word never enters flesh. So it's just a trick to think that you reincarnate because the Word of God, the Christ, never actually comes into the dream. Christ is pure light and heaven. But the trick is believing you're born and then assuming you die. And then, if you still have guilt in your mind, if you have any unconscious guilt in your mind at the seeming end of this cycle or this body cycle, you are drawn back like a magnet to the world. Thus, seriousness causes reincarnation. Laughter ends reincarnation. Seriousness causes reincarnation because you're taking the guilt seriously. It’s not real. God didn't create it. It's certainly not real, but if you believe in it, it generates what seems to be an artificial life called a human being. Still, when we start to take it in and digest that a little bit and see that you have the perception of form as the baseline without having had experiences that are beyond the form, then it can be like, well, now you're talking about the big question mark for humans. Oh, we can all have our theories. Everybody can have a theory. The question is, what is real? It's like men and women saying, Can't live with them - Can't live without them. And now we are saying, Bodies, can't live with them, can't live without them? Yeah, and now, Bodies, can't live with them, have to live with them! Christ and God are impressive. Ultimately, you can't have an impressive illusion because the meaning of illusion is nothing. So even the word vast illusion is still pretending it's not tiny. But It's just plain zero. Zero + Zero + Zero is Zero. And that's what we're going for. We're going for an experience where we don't have to react to it or respond to it, positively or negatively, because it is nothing but to realize that nothingness is really what the mind training is about. To look calmly and quiet upon any appearance and be courageous and invulnerable, saying you can't fool me now. I'm not going to be fooled. That is what this is about. Today's movie is Evan Almighty which is a follow-up to Bruce Almighty. A Course in Miracles is not really a Course as much as it is unlearning and undoing. So, it's very much like traditional spirituality, which is emptying your mind and everything you think, you think, and think, you know. It's everything that Buddha and Lao Tzu talked about, and all Mystics and Saints agreed, yet it's called A Course in Miracles. So it gives you the lead-in or illusion that you're going to learn something. But this book doesn't lend itself to learning in the traditional way. Because learning is about adding and accumulating things and progressively building things, the course is the complete opposite of that. So it will use concepts that are stepping stones, but when you go deeper and deeper in, you can see that these were just like little rungs on the ladder that you were supposed to step on for a while and embrace and then push off to have to go higher on the ladder. When you take a boat across the river, you don't necessarily carry the boat on your back when you get to the other side of the river. It's just a vehicle as part of the transformation, and that's really what teaching and learning are. It's just a conversion of your consciousness. The movie "Before I Fall" - Let Go of Thinking for Yourself with David Hoffmeister.Today's movie is a looper movie given to help you wake up because it shows you your mistakes. The only mistake you're making is trying to hold on to the past, and when you try to hold on to the past, you repeat it and don't let it go. But Jesus wants us to forgive the past and recognize that it's already gone. So when we try to loop it, we're trying to keep it going, and Jesus is like, you're not going to wake up if you keep looping time because the ego is time. It's the belief that separation is real. So if you keep making the same mistake in the present moment, not listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit, only listening to your past learning, you're going nowhere. You're just going to stay stuck in the illusion of time. But if you follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you're going to get happier and happier, and you're going to be like me, where you can scrape me off the ceiling, you know, just having a happy, happy, happy life. Your dream becomes happy because you don't feel at the mercy of the dream anymore. You're dreaming it. You're not at the mercy of the dream. You're the dreamer of the dream. That's the whole point of A Course in Miracles and this movie to show you. You're the dreamer.
