It's a presence of mind that is entirely independent of the body. And so when you ask if healing involves bodily activity. I would say it consists of the purpose or the use of the body, but not the body's activities. If everything's an illusion, which it is, and the body is an illusion, it can't mean whether the body is active or inactive is essential. What Jesus tells us is that the miracle is involuntary and shouldn't be under conscious control. And so we have to get into every moment. What would you have me do? Where would you have me go? What would you have me say? I'm here, I'm giving my body over to you, Spirit, and I'm no longer in charge of it. I take zero responsibility for it. Or we could say it already here. It's not a future thing. The temptation is to believe that things would improve if the circumstances of my worldly life changed. It could be my body or my relationships, but that's just the temptation to defend against the light that has come. Nothing needs to change in form. Only our perspectives on the world have to change.If the light has come, and Jesus is not putting an IF in front of that statement. He is just teaching. The light has come with no ifs, ands, or buts. In other words, it's not hypothetical. People say to me, I know I'm only love, and we're all one, but... But means there's an exception. And Jesus is not giving us an exception when he says The Light Has Come. Have No Fear of Consequences - Movie Workshop with David HoffmeisterIsn't that a great way to live? Live every moment of your life without any fear of consequences? Who wants to fear a bunch of hypothetical consequences that don't exist? Why would we live our life based on fear when we have everything we need and want? When we say, God, I want to live in happiness. I want to live in joy. I want to live in peace. That request is granted to us now, and the only thing that prevents us from experiencing that joy and happiness is a belief in a hypothetical future, which is a projection of the past. So when we are afraid of potential consequences that could come to us as a body or a personality. We're just into erroneous thinking. Coming into true honesty - Being aligned with the source in what I think, say, and do.We want to live an honest life and feel we're lined up with our source because our source is love, happiness, joy, and peace. That's really in our hearts. That's what we're praying for. We want to have a happy, joyful life. And to stay aligned with the source, we must accept ourselves as God created us. The ego made the body; the ego made the personality and the perceptual world of time and space. It made the stars and the planets and the mountains and the trees. The ego projected a world meant to be a hiding place, as Jesus says in the Course of place, where God could enter not. The world was made as a veil to cover our true identity as pure love. The world was made as a distracting device to distract us from going within and finding the love within our hearts. And the world was made as a place of hatred and sorrow, and many of us have gone through a lot of experiences that were pretty difficult, pretty dark experiences, but Jesus is saying not to worry. You just had a misperception, and I will help you correct your perception. And then you'll see things truly and know that you were mistaken about the world. Rising into Light with David Hoffmeister, Frances Xu and Lisa Fair live at La Casa de Milagros - Christian MysticismDo you choose to join the crucifixion, or do you decide to join the resurrection? It's a question that Jesus poses directly to us today. Which one do you choose to join? The next question is, do you decide to stay imprisoned? Or do you prefer to ascend to your father like rising to the light? These two are the same question, and the answer is the same. Choose to believe in the resurrection because the resurrection has already been accomplished. It has been accomplished in you. It was not accomplished out there 2000 years ago on the cross. The resurrection lives in you. If I choose to live out the crucifixion mentality as if I'm crucified all day long, everybody else is crucified with me, but I can rise knowing that the resurrection is right here, right now. I can choose to exercise it and decide to live it. There is no excuse anymore to say I have to wait to forgive. I can exercise my willpower; the forgiven perspective is already here.
