'The Special Love Relationship' - A Tribe of Christ Movie Workshop with Commentary by David Hoffmeister

'The Special Love Relationship' - A Tribe of Christ Movie Workshop with Commentary by David HoffmeisterThe movie is a powerful exploration of the ego's belief system, which is often resistant to change. Jesus spends nine chapters on one topic in "A Course in Miracles," focusing on the special relationship, which is the core belief of the ego. The resistance can be seen in the intense discussions about special love and hate relationships, where people may resist the deep topics. This world is tied to fear, guilt, pain, and shame as it attempts to create a substitute that will take the place of God's love. The ego's attempt to edge God out is referred to as complete amnesia, making up a darkness that life cannot enter. This first bi-weekly Tribe Movie Workshop offers a deep exploration of the ego's beliefs and the resistance to change. By understanding the ego's attempt to substitute a different reality for God and heaven, we can better navigate our relationship with God and the world around us.To participate online in a Tribe Movie Workshop, join our online community: https://programs.the-christ.net/products/communities/tribe-of-christIf you want to know more about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, here is more information: https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events.Recorded in the Morning, January 13, 2023, in Casa Quantico, Chapala, Mexico.

Movie Community Chautauqua - Commentary by David Hoffmeister, December 20, 2023

Movie Community Chautauqua - Commentary by David Hoffmeister, December 20, 2023The complexity of life can lead to stress, depression, and overwhelm. The core problem is a belief in duality, which is the diversity itself. Jesus shows us that those who believe in the ego have a split mind, with part of the mind remembering the truth and part forgotten. This intense split causes the opposites to arise and are accepted as just the way things are. The movie lays bare all the complexities, contradictions, and dualities, even the acceptable ones. It goes beyond romance movies, which often attract opposites, and war movies, where opposites clash. Jesus tells us that special love and hatred will not help us remember the kingdom of heaven because love has no opposite. To approach love, we must face this split in the mind and face the fearful emotions of investing in opposites. The movie also highlights the intensity of nothing being kept hidden, with characters like Vikram and Asad coming up and wanting anything kept hidden to be brought up into full awareness. This theme is similar to the role of the hero in hero movies, who try to right wrongs or solve problems in society or relationships.Dealing with complexity can lead to stress, depression, and overwhelm. By understanding the complexity of life and the importance of changing our minds, we can better navigate the challenges we face and find true happiness and fulfillment. If you want to know more about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, here is more information: https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events.Join our online community: https://programs.the-christ.net/products/communities/tribe-of-christRecorded in the afternoon, December 20, 2023, in Casa Quantico, Chapala, Mexico.

Community Chautauqua at Casa Quantico with David Hoffmeister, December 13, 2023

Community Chautauqua at Casa Quantico with David Hoffmeister, December 13, 2023David starts the Chautauqua by talking about the expanding prison ministry. The prisoners are a very receptive audience to the idea of innocence, and when they get released or paroled, they are ready to go and proclaim the good news. The Holy Spirit, the spirit of joy, is the key to bringing these teachings to life. The mystical mind training program, which combines the teachings of the Course and Miracles into an audio-visual medium, has helped transfer the training. But the demonstration and action of these teachings are crucial, as they point to the moment of release and the kingdom of heaven.Jesus said, "The kingdom of heaven is at hand," and we must continue proclaiming this good news of innocence. In Australia, they say, "No worries, mate," which is another version of the kingdom of heaven. This is not a denial but a more profound sense of happiness and joy. Our life is about demonstrating happiness, joy, and the blessing of eternal life.If you want to know more about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, here is more information: https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events.Join our online community: https://programs.the-christ.net/products/communities/tribe-of-christRecorded in the afternoon, December 13, 2023, in Casa Quantico, Chapala, Mexico.

Movie Community Chautauqua - Commentary by David Hoffmeister, December 9, 2023

Movie Community Chautauqua - Commentary by David Hoffmeister, December 9, 2023The movie Mully, starring Charles Mully, is a powerful example of prayer, listening, and following. It unites us with the Holy Spirit, Jesus, and the Creator, focusing on our heart's desire to remember God. The movie takes place in Kenya's slums, highlighting the importance of prayer in achieving spiritual growth.Charles must pray through this world and receive and follow inner messages. Spiritual awakening often doesn't emphasize prayer, listening, and guidance. To fully wake up from a dream, one must grasp the power of prayer and the power of the mind. They must believe in guidance, whether it's an inner voice or intuitions and feelings. They must follow the guidance, which leads to joy, presence, laughter, and giggles. The gifts of prayer, listening, and following come from a deep connection with God and the power of the mind. If one has faith in prayer and is willing to give themselves wholeheartedly, everything unfolds from prayer, listening, and following. If you want to know more about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, here is more information: https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events.Join our online community: https://programs.the-christ.net/products/communities/tribe-of-christRecorded in the afternoon, December 9, 2023, in Casa Quantico, Chapala, Mexico.

Community Chautauqua at Casa Quantico with David Hoffmeister, December 7, 2023

Community Chautauqua at Casa Quantico with David Hoffmeister, December 7, 2023,David discusses the importance of letting go and recognizing that what seems important and valuable in the world is part of a trick or deception to keep us from the present moment. He discusses Jesus' teachings on the importance of ego goals based on a timeline of past, present, and future. Jesus emphasizes that everyone who comes to this world organizes their perception based on what they believe and has a self that they create as they go along. The spiritual journey involves letting go and recognizing that what seems valuable is part of a deception to keep us from the present moment. In lesson 133, Jesus teaches us to discern valuable from valueless, moving away from high ideals and bringing the student back to practicality. He states that if something will not last forever, it has no value; if it will last forever, it is valuable. This helps us understand that gain and loss, winning and losing, and success and failure are equally destructive thoughts when put on the timeline. If you want to know more about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, here is more information: https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events.Join our online community: https://programs.the-christ.net/products/communities/tribe-of-christRecorded in the afternoon, December 7, 2023, in Casa Quantico, Chapala, Mexico.

Chautauqua Movie Night - Commentary by David Hoffmeister - December 4, 2023

Chautauqua Movie Night - Commentary by David Hoffmeister - December 4, 2023At the Chautauqua evening event, David commented on the movie "Dreamin' Wild." The movie explores the unconscious fears and doubts that arise from pursuing dreams. The story takes place over three decades, starting with the initial album of two brothers, Donnie and Joe, who created a great album at 15. The title of their album, "Dreaming Wild," is a metaphor for the pursuit of dreams, as it encourages the mind to explore the world of a linear Dreamland. The movie highlights the importance of pursuing dreams softly and finding happiness in the journey. The movie also highlights the importance of embracing the underbelly of guilt and shame in the mind, as Jesus encourages us to dream softly and find happiness in the journey. Overall, "Dreamin' Wild" is a powerful healing film highlighting the importance of embracing the truth and the journey of self-discovery.If you want to know more about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, here is more information: https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events.Join our online community: https://programs.the-christ.net/products/communities/tribe-of-christRecorded in the afternoon, December 4, 2023, in Casa Quantico, Chapala, Mexico.

Community Chautauqua at Casa Quantico with David Hoffmeister, December 4, 2023

Community Chautauqua at Casa Quantico with David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles CommunityThis is the first Living Miracles Chautauqua, with more to come. Chautauquas expanded and spread throughout rural America until the mid-1920s. The Chautauqua brought entertainment and culture to the whole community with speakers, teachers, musicians, showpeople, preachers, and specialists of the day.During this dynamic talk, David Hoffmeister covers a number of topics, including how media is a communication tool that allows people to see, read, and listen to information. Like everything we've learned about the world, the body serves a significant purpose in unifying us through forgiveness. The Holy Spirit activates our minds to use this knowledge for a different purpose, such as seeing the false is false. The body was created as a symbol of separation in the ego's fictitious world. Jesus teaches us that the Holy Spirit can transform special relationships into holy relationships and transform the body into a learning device and communication tool."If you want to know more about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, here is more information: https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events.Join our online community: https://programs.the-christ.net/products/communities/tribe-of-christRecorded in the afternoon, December 4, 2023, in Casa Quantico, Chapala, Mexico.

#3 Mexico City - Movie Night Commentary with David Hoffmeister

#3 Mexico City - Movie Night Commentary with David HoffmeisterDavid shares a profound commentary for the movie Hypnotic, starring Ben Affleck, for the closing session in Mexico City. Marina Colombo gives the Spanish translation to the entire group. From David's commentary: Wayne Dyer's book, "When You Believe It, Then You'll See It," emphasizes the power of the mind and the fear of miscreation. People often believe they have a powerful mind, and the teachings of the new age teach that people can create their own reality. Jesus teaches that people fear their thoughts and the power of their minds, as they fear miscreation and the potential for disaster. The ego created the world and body to convince the sleeping mind that brains can think, but Jesus argues that believing in thoughts is like holding a matchstick lit to the sun.If you want to know more about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, here is more information: https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events.Join our online community: https://programs.the-christ.net/products/communities/tribe-of-christRecorded on the Evening of November 25, 2023, in Mexico City, Mexico.

#1 Mexico City: Opening Session - Recordar a Dios (Remember God)- One Day Retreat

#1 Mexico City: Opening Session - Recordar a Dios (Remember God)- One-Day RetreatDavid and the Living Miracles team share an opening session in Mexico City. Marina Colombo and Ana Paola offer the Spanish translations of David's English spoken words. This day's theme is remembering God, which requires us to forget this world and come with open arms to our God. Jesus calls us to remember God before time, as He was before Abraham, and we are. The Course in Miracles teaches us that atonement is a complete escape from the past, and the ego does not understand this. To remember God, we must forget all thoughts of time and be practical. Jesus knows we need steps to accept this, such as vanishing memories, letting go of everything we've learned, and even letting go of the future. The ego has invented linear time, splitting time into past and future compartments, part of being human. The belief in the past and future is a trick to keep us from remembering God.If you want to know more about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, here is more information: https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events.Join our online community: https://programs.the-christ.net/products/communities/tribe-of-christRecorded on the Morning of November 25, 2023, in Mexico City, Mexico.

Movie Night at La Casa de Milagros, Commentary by David Hoffmeister

Movie Night at La Casa de Milagros - Commentary by David HoffmeisterThe Bible and A Course in Miracles both emphasize that all things work together for good for those who love the Lord. This applies to perception and relationships, as they all have the same purpose and are purposeful. Jesus calls every relationship maximal in terms of teaching and learning. The Course explains that teachers of God have no set teaching level. Still, each teaching-learning situation involves different relationships with the ultimate goal of making the relationship holy. The third level of teaching occurs in lifelong relationships, where each person is given a chosen learning partner who presents unlimited learning opportunities. These relationships are generally few because they involve a perfect teaching-learning balance. Enjoy David's commentary on the movie "When Harry Met Sally."
