Sean Saint is the Co-Founder + Chief Executive Officer of Companion Medical. Sean is responsible for assembling the corporate team and managing day-to-day operations of the Company. He has more than 15 years’ of engineering experience in medical devices and various startups. Sean is a Type 1 diabetic and well-known in the diabetes community. Prior to starting Companion Medical, Sean worked as Director of Advanced Technology and Mechanical Engineer at Tandem Diabetes Care, Co-Founder and Vice President of R&D at Alure Medical, Engineering Manager at Dexcom, and Senior Engineer at Medtronic/AVE. Sean has 175 issued and pending patent applications. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of California. Jarod Latch has worked in broadcasting, media and digital for almost 20 years. In 2011, he took a chance and went all-in as a co-founder of Spiracle Media. Jad Esber is a Sainsbury's Management Fellow & MBA Candidate at Harvard Business School, also leading the entrepreneurship club on campus and working as a Venture Capital Fellow sourcing and advising local startups for Bay Area-based Pear VC. For the summer of 2019, Jad had a Fellowship @ Lightspeed Ventures, starting a new company he'll continue to work on during the MBA. Originally a Cambridge-educated Mechanical Engineer that delved into the world of online video content to work on developing the content creator ecosystem in emerging markets @ YouTube. While at YouTube, Jad pitched a curation product idea that he ended up working on as an acting Product Manager, before moving to spearhead Strategy & Operations efforts across Europe, Middle East & Africa on the B2B Product Marketing team @ Google. Kayla Singer graduated from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California in May of 2016. She began her career at PwC in the Deals Practice, focusing on M&A valuation / strategic value consulting for fortune 500 clients across many sectors. She then transitioned to Management Consulting, focusing on process improvement for technology and entertainment clients. In addition to her work roles at PwC, Kayla actively participated in the recruitment process and benefited from specialized workshops through PwC’s experience center. After PwC, Kayla joined Pypestream, a conversational AI startup. In addition to utilizing her consulting project management skills, Kayla built her technical acumen to lead and execute implementations for clients. After notably deploying creativity and a broadened skill set, Kayla was asked to co-lead Pypestream‘s Innovation Lab, with the aim to build new stand-alone business units leveraging Pypestream’s technology. Kayla is a board/advisory member of USC Marshall Partners, the premier giving society that raises funds for the USC Marshall School of Business, USC Marshall Alumni Association, the global network of hundreds of thousands of Trojans and YPO Next Generation where she heads up membership and finance. Kayla was also selected as one of four USC graduates to be on Marshall’s centennial planning committee. Kayla enjoys public speaking. His travels have taken him to 200 countries and territories in the Traveler’s Century Club and 128 United Nations countries. He has also visited over 380 UNESCO World Heritage sites and all 50 US states. His blog Everything Everywhere is considered one of the best travel blogs in the world.  It was named one of the Top 25 Blogs in the world by Time Magazine and it earned a Gold Medal in the Travel Blog category in the North American Travel Journalist Association (NATJA) awards and a Gold Medal for Best Travel Photography Blog in the 2018 TBCAsia Awards.  He is one of the most awarded travel photographers of this decade. He was named the 2014 SATW Travel Photographer of the Year as well as the 2013 & 2015 NATJA Travel Photographer of the Year. He is the only travel photographer to have been named photographer of the year by both organizations. He is also a 3-time Lowell Thomas Award winner in Photo Illustration of Travel and a 2x Northern Lights Award winner in photography.
