Why This Is My Top Suggestion For Anyone On The Fertility Journey

We're digging into how the elimination diet can improve pregnancy success. The first place we start with the couples in our Fab Fertile Couples Coaching Program is the elimination diet. It is the gold standard to figure out if you have a food sensitivity, and we have BOTH partners do the elimination diet (it is not just about you changing your diet). It takes two to have a baby! While the majority of couples that I speak with tell me they are eating a “clean” diet, most have not done the elimination diet. Food sensitivity is a stressor on the body and must be addressed (we see so many people get this wrong). If your body is mounting an immune response to your favourite foods, this causes inflammation. How EMDR Can Help During The Fertility Journey

We’re digging into how EMDR can help improve pregnancy success. The fertility journey can be filled with triggers, heartbreak and frustration. A theme we see with couples on the fertility journey is trauma. We often see childhood trauma (i.e. physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, physical neglect. emotional neglect. mental illness, divorce and substance abuse). We especially see the trauma that results from the fertility diagnosis and visualizing a different path to parenthood. This can result in unpredictable emotions, flashbacks, strained relationships and physical symptoms such as nausea or headaches. That’s why I’m including a referral partner for EMDR as part of our Fab Fertile Method. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps to heal from emotional distress that stems from painful and traumatic life experiences. Why Your Blood Chemistry Matters and How To Improve Your Markers When You Are TTC

We’re digging into what your blood chemistry results mean for your fertility. You may have been told that your blood work is “normal.” Or you may have been told that some markers are out of balance. Sometimes medication can be given to bring these markers into balance, but typically there is no strategy to address WHY there is an imbalance in the first place. This can lead to frustration and confusion. You may even feel like IVF is your only hope. However, moving ahead to IVF without addressing these critical healing opportunities can lead to failed cycles, cancelled cycles due to poor response, and an increased risk of miscarriage.
