He had a great officer spot and was happy with leading his company. But we need solid firefighters and good leaders to step up and have a seat at the table. We need these people to help keep command staffs grounded and in touch with the actual day to day. Chad Cave is working hard to ensure the Frederick County firefighters have what they need to do their jobs.

During our trip to Maui, HI, Jeremy had the opportunity to sit down with Louis Romero, a retired Battalion Chief with the Maui Fire Department. He, along with many other retired members of the department, assisted after the devastating fires that consumed parts of the beautiful island. Chief Romero talks about the importance of having ancestral knowledge and understanding the environment. History repeats itself and their spirituality helps them understand their culture and the land they respect and love. It is an exciting time for Danny Dwyer and he is not looking back, only forward!!
