179: SCHIZOCAST - What is Cola Warrior?
Joining Nathan and B.R for a Schizocast is gunsmith, Ben Gould, as well as private pilot and aircraft recovery specialist, Matt, both of whom are competitors of the cult-like annual shooting competition, Cola Warrior. The lads get into Cola Warrior and what the crucible of Peep eating, soda chugging, obstacle course centric and shooting challenges is like for competitors, with Ben sharing his two years of competing and Matt his three. 178: The Sig P320 - An Honest Conversation
"The P320. It ends today." Bold words spoken by Sig Sauer on March 7th as they address the years long controversy surrounding their handgun, the P320 allegedly firing without the trigger being actuated. Widely adopted by Law Enforcement, the US military as the M17, and private citizens, the P320 has come under fire for allegedly posing a risk to those who use it. In this more journalistic episode of The Art and War Podcast, Nathan and B.R speak with Brandon and Drew, a cybersecurity intel report writer and mechanical engineer respectively. The pair have previously written reports on the MCX Virtus allegedly facing issues being unable to hold zero with lasers due to hand guard shift. Now, the pair discuss at length and in-detail the many court cases and controversies surrounding Sig Sauer, aiming to have an honest and open discussion on what is actually going on following Sig's statements, and make a historic record for greater transparency with consumers of products for which life and liberty depend on. 174: The Icepick Jay Story - PART I
Icepick Jay joins B.R and Phil the Camera guy to share his story on how he came to work in the gun industry, and what made him the man he is today. Jay shares his story growing up in Baltimore in the early 90’s, being raised in a Russian Judeo-Christian environment, dealing with bullying and being sheltered from a young age, how that lead him to hardcore music and skinhead culture, what skinhead culture actually is, becoming a (non-violent) felon and getting his record cleared, overcoming homelessness and living out of his car, working as a bouncer and then armed private security in Florida and seeing awful violence and death up close, and getting into the pawn shop gun trade and the chaos of that job.
