Career Coach: What Is It, How Does It Work, and Why You May Need One (Ep 159)
Career coaches help professionals find jobs by providing career advice and guidance. Listen to this podcast episode and read the blog below to learn more about what they do, how they can help, and why you may need one!Career coaching services can significantly improve job seekers' chances of finding employment. Some popular career coaching services include resume writing, interview preparation, strengths assessment and analysis, and LinkedIn coaching. As a career coach, I offer all the services above, and they can be booked or purchased straight from my website. However, many professionals are unaware of the benefits of working with a career coach, mainly because when professionals do book coaching services, they don't tend to communicate that to their friends and colleagues. It gives others no clue that they have worked with a coach to achieve their goals. I'd say that 90% of my clients are like that. So let's discuss the benefits and why professionals opt to work with career coaches when they are looking to achieve specific goals with their job hunting or career ambitions.Read the full Blog on the WebsiteJoin 5,000+ Readers of The Job Hunting Newsletter: Subscribe NowLear More About Renata's career coaching and courses Timestamps to guide your listening:00:52 - Job Hunting the waiting game01:48 - Anxious and nervous04:01 - Underselling yourself09:06 - My personal investment and how it helped me12:15 - Career readiness12:48 - My LinkedIn Audit service13:34 - Qualities of a good coach14:39 - What type of coach do you need?19:02 - Group Coaching22:28 - How do you determine the return on your investment from career coaching25:07 - Making small changes and being consistentLinks mentioned in this episode:Learn more about my service: Find My TalentsMy LinkedIn Audit ServiceAbout the host, Renata BernardeHello, I'm Renata Bernarde, the Host of The Job Hunting Podcast. We learn along the way. We fail along the way. And sometimes, it can be very frustrating. So how do you overcome it?
