The Trump appointee is delaying rulings on issues that legal experts say are routine and the longer she takes with her decisions, the more likely this trial will be pushed past the election. That has a lot of people wondering whether she’s doing this on purpose. Former federal prosecutor David Katz will join us to dig into that case and others. These states, crucial battlegrounds in the 2020 presidential election, saw Biden emerge victorious except for North Carolina, which went to Trump. The new poll findings suggest a shift in public sentiment, indicating a potential challenge for the Biden administration as it navigates through its term. The Trump property fire sale is on hold for now. He has paid his $175 million bond in his New York civil fraud case, but not with his own cash. Now, he can appeal without NY Attorney General Letitia James taking action against his properties. Trump’s bond is underwritten by California based Knight Specialty Insurance. It’s unknown what collateral Trump used to get the bond. Pulitzer Prize winning author and journalist David Cay Johnston will be in to discuss that plus the expanded gag order Trump is now under. Yesterday, a judge called for the cancellation of the law license of one of Trump’s top allies in his attempts to subvert the 2020 election. The judge said Eastman violated ethics rules — and possibly criminal law. We’ll discuss. Severyn Ashkenazy will be on the show today. He’s credited with creating the city of West Hollywood.
