The end of presidential campaigning seems to be heightening Trump‘s anger at… well, everything. After some violent words toward the press and Liz Cheney and a long, weird and inappropriate rant about his microphone malfunctioning at a weekend rally, he’s now incensed over new polling data out of Iowa putting Vice President Kamala Harris in the lead. The Seizer poll for the Des Moines Register has Harris over Trump by three points. The pollster tells MSNBC Harris leads in Iowa’s early voting “because of her strength with women generally, even stronger with women aged 65 and older. A red flag for Trump. Early voting data and polling in Pennsylvania shows the senior vote leaning in favor of Harris. According to Politico, voters over the age of 65 have cast nearly half of the early ballots in Pennsylvania and registered Democrats account for about 58 percent of votes cast by seniors, compared to 35 percent for Republicans. we will dig into the numbers to find out what’s happening. Happy Halloween 🎃 The final days of presidential campaigning will likely bring more outrageous comments from Trump. Political analysts say that’s because the more Vice President Harris has to respond to issues like Puerto Rico, the less time she gets to hammer home her message. This election cycle, legal maneuvering over voter rolls is a big concern. There is also a move not to allow federal election monitors in polling places. We welcome former federal prosecutor, now defense attorney, David Katz to the show to discuss that, plus the recent developments in the Menendez brothers case.

An estimated 70,000 people gathered at the ellipse in Washington, D.C. to watch Vice President Kamala Harris make her closing argument to American voters. She talked about democracy, supporting allies, lifting up the middle class, the economy, reproductive rights and much more. She also touched on the formation of the United States saying. “we wrested freedom from a petty tyrant.” She talked about wars, sacrifice, civil rights struggles and the way that Americans have fought to preserve liberty. “They did not struggle, sacrifice and lay down their lives, only to see us cede our fundamental freedoms, only to see us submit to the will of another petty tyrant.” Trump appeared at a rally in Allentown, Pennsylvania where he reiterated many of the negative messages of his campaign. He did single out Catholics telling them he would be their protector. He also says he’ll be a protecting women, despite having bragged about taking away women’s reproductive rights. Trump also promised voters that America would have a shield or dome over the country for protection. We’ll talk politics with presidential historian and political analyst John Rothmann.

Just in time for the election, here comes Steve Bannon. The MAGA instigator is being released from prison today. He served nearly four-months for ignoring a subpoena in the congressional investigation of the January 6th insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. Bannon is expected to appear on CNN, hold a press conference and resume his podcast with hours of being freed. This is not the end of Bannon’s legal troubles. Trump's Madison Square Garden Rally brought a rare Melania sighting, another strange speech from Elon Musk, an appeal against DEI from Dr. Phil, more Hulk Hogan nonsense and a racist comedian who was so bad, even Trumpers had a hard time laughing at his offensive jokes. Video shows a steady stream of people leaving while Trump spoke. One note: Trump is now promising to build a dome over America.  Trump's appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast was long and meandering.  He was allowed to lie again and again unchecked.  Vice President Kamala Harris had a massive rally in Texas that featured Beyonce and Willie Nelson. Meanwhile, Former First Lady Michelle Obama gave a powerful speech in Michigan urging voters to choose Harris saying, ”If we don’t get this election right, your wife, your daughter, your mother, we as women will become collateral damage to your rage. ESPN host Stephen A. Smith had to correct Sean Hannity yesterday on Fox. Hannity was trying to normalize Trump’s mental state and Smith wasn’t having it. In trying to defend Donald Trump, Hannity said Harris struggles to speak in public and that she hast to give word salads because she can’t say how she really feels. Smith called Hannity out: 'I know you're not talking about someone being lucid and cogent, and enunciating their thoughts with clarity, and you're bragging about Donald Trump,' 'We can't be watching the same stuff if that's what you're doing. Tucker Carlson was on stage with Trump at a rally in Georgia last night and it got weird. Carlson, in what was at best a completely misogynistic rant and at worst pervy and abusive, slammed Vice President Kamala Harris and then said “dad” was coming home to deliver punishment. Of Daddy Trump, Carlson said, “He’s pissed! Dad is pissed. … And when dad gets home, you know what he says? ‘You’ve been a bad girl. You’ve been a bad little girl, and you’re getting a vigorous spanking right now.’” It went on from there, and by the time Trump took the stage, the angry crowd was yelling “Daddy’s Home!” We are so excited to welcome Leigh McGowan. You might know her as #politicsgirl. She has a successful TikTok platform where she stands in her kitchen and discusses politics. McGowan has a new book that just came out.
