No Sanity Required

What are you going to flee from this week? What are you going to pursue?These are questions we should ask ourselves in our pursuits to be more like Christ. In 1 Timothy 6, we see Paul instructing Timothy on how he should behave and what he should strive for as a believer. Paul was a mentor and spiritual father to Timothy. Who are you comparing yourself to? Instead of comparing ourselves to the world, we need to be comparing ourselves to those around us who know and love the Lord. In 1 Timothy 6, we see Paul challenge Timothy to strive for godliness as a young man. We can learn from Paul’s example of the way he invested in Timothy’s life. We should always be learning from someone older than us. What has God commissioned you for? The call for every man and woman is to conform to the image of God.
