We were joined by Smokey the Appalachiatani, former Law Enforcement Officer turned homesteader, and spoke about his journey from New Jersey to a small farm in Floyd, VA, as well as his "State of Appalachia" concept that would make SouthWest Virginia it's own state, free from Richmond and a hoard of voters that do not represent the same ideals as SWVA. Our one year show is here and it turned out as good as we had hoped. We started off hot with Paul Hall, fresh off his recent start at Bowman Gray Stadium for Hillbilly Racing. There was quite a bit of controversy there, so we enjoyed talking about that and his hopes to continue to run there, and for the SMART Mod remaining schedule. We also talked about the best stories of our first year, some things we enjoyed, great shows, good memories, and future plans. Simply put, this episode was awesome. We set up in turn 2 for the SMART Modified race at Franklin County Speedway and had some of the biggest names in racing join us for fantastic discussions. We also snuck in some great local music between segments, including the OFFICIAL RELEASE at the end of segment 1 of "One Shot" by The Jared Stout Band (Link below) along with "Country Boys Like Me" by Crawford and Power, and finally "Up on the Mountain" by Corey Hunley, so it made for one of our best shows to date. First we welcomed back Steve Post of MRN Radio/Steve Post Communications with Bill Stanley, co-owner of SS Racing,  for a talk about the importance of short track racing, along with a string of other interesting topics.
