3 Takeaways from Rebecca Courtneyβs first workshop
In this new episode, I talk to the lovely Rebecca Courtney.
She is a facilitation coach at AJ&Smart, whose CEO is no other than her brother Jonathan.
She is currently working on a new facilitation course which will be launched in December and has an interesting background, having started her career in education as a teacher.
I first met Rebecca online, as she facilitates the bi-weekly Master Workshopper programme community calls, and I also had the chance to meet her personally in Italy at the exclusive event organized by AJ&smart in Italy.
In this episode, we talk about the following.
ππ» Her background as a teacher and how she stepped out of her comfort zone to take on a new challenge as a facilitation coach.
ππ» Her role as a facilitator for Workshopper Master community calls.
ππ» How she suddenly started to love the research work (which she didn't like that much in the past) for the preparation of the new facilitation course, which AJ&Smart will launch by the end of the year.
ππ» And how her first workshop went in front of 50 highly skilled facilitators and her learnings from that experience.

001- Birth of "There is a Workshop for that!" Podcast
**WRAP-UP**
In this first episode, I share with you how this podcast started. How the so-called "Worshopper Master" programme initiated by AJ&smart -a Berlin-based digital product design studio- gave me the knowledge I needed to become more confident in my work as a facilitator with companies whose teams and industries I don't know.
As this is a first episode, I'll take the time to introduce myself and tell you
ππ» where I am from
ππ» what my mother brought to my way of working
ππ» what my career milestones were and what they taught me
ππ» how I made the decision to start my own workshop facilitation business
ππ»And how I met this community of workshop facilitators with whom I exchange, work and who will be the protagonists of this podcast throught the Workshopper master Programm of AJ&Smart
**I interview 5 of my facilitators mates**, in a beautiful summer atmosphere around the pool, in the centre of the workation village where we met at the end of August 2022 (The sound is (you can hear the sound of the water and some people chatting in the background, but that's what we call live π€ͺ ).
And because you always have to end on a high note, **Jonathan Courtney - CEO of AJ&Smart** shares with me his first impressions on the last day of the workshopper 2022 retreat, organised by him and his colleagues.
