230 - MGTOW Declaration of Independence

Earlier today I had someone contact me about asking me to define the difference between the MRA Movement and MGTOW. His name is Anthony and he has been an MRA since before the turn of the century and I know him personally. So he's been following the movement for over fifteen years. When he started getting involved and following the MRM there were a couple of dozen men involved. I take his thoughts an opinions seriously because he was involved in this long before anyone else. And he asked me how I see MGTOW and MRA differently. So I told him what I've said before. That men going their own way are about decentralized power and influence. We aren't into organizing, holding meetings or creating a social movement. We are purely into philosophy and make our videos to increase awareness about gynocentrism and fight feminism ideas just like the Men's Right's movement. Most of us are not about activism in the traditional sense. It's more about online activism making videos. And keep in mind that what I say here is not a manifesto but just a bunch of generalizations that I'm making. I also told him that a MGTOW can be an MRA and and MRA can be a MGTOW. There might have been a time when the two were inseparable but I believe that time has passed. And people can now choose to either be an MRA, MGTOW, both or neither. And I'm not the one saying this but hundreds if not thousands of men are saying this now. People believe that the MRA movement and MGTOW philosophy are increasingly separate things and getting that idea out of people's heads now that it's been formed is like trying to skate uphill. Unlike many of the other vocal critics of the men's rights movement I support what they are doing even if it only brings awareness to the issues. And the men's rights movement is comprised of more then just AVFM. There's Cafe up here in Canada, Men's Rights Edmonton as well as other groups. And Cafe is extremely inclusive of everyone and that's what I like about it. AVFM is a company with a hierarchy. New people come in and old people leave, willing or otherwise. My entire life I've been anti-corporation. I've never liked working for companies that have defined hierarchies and leadership structures.Does Feminism Discriminate Against Men? 229 - Demographic Winter

Just a quick update before I begin today's topic. Some of you may have noticed I sounded a bit sick yesterday and I'm getting a bit of a sore throat so I can't really talk with my normal intensity. Hopefully it will clear up shortly. But it's difficult to speak at high volume and energy when it causes pain. Anyways, I want to talk about the Demographic Winter. This is a situation where there are far more older people in a population then young people because younger generations are choosing to have no kids or less kids. And it's a topic that relates to MGTOW because 99% of us are choosing not to have children and contribute to population growth. This will effect most of us because as we get older there is a risk that the social safety net is going to fall apart due to the inability of governments to pay off the interest on their national debts. This is why every man going his own way needs a financial backup plan in case that does end up happening and the state can't afford to pay pensions. Right now there is no danger of that happening because interest rates are incredibly low and will seemingly never go up again. In Canada where I live the population continues to increase even though I remember reading a few years ago that the birth rate was one point five to one point six children for every couple. Immigration continues to increase the population base even though native born Canadians as well as first and second generation Canadians aren't having children. The demographic winter will probably be a form of poetic justice for many men because it's women that tend to outlive men by four or five years. So it will be women in their extremely old age that will be the most impacted by the demographic winter. But this is fair because women are the ones that have taken us into this situation. Before women entered the workforce men forced families to save money. And because of that the savings rate always seemed to hoover between ten and twenty percent.Japan's The Margarines pop idols aim to sing away debthttp://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-news-fr...Demographic Winter Documentaryhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxUD8...Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/mgtow/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

228 - Purse Ladies

"Hi Sandman, In a nutshell, I work in Washington, DC. I take a shuttle bus to the Metro, for starters. There are two women who get on the bus and take the front seat and put their bags on the second seat so no one can sit beside them. One of them is "disabled" simply because of her weight and claims entitlement for the front seat, refusing to offer it up even for blind people. What got me thinking was the bag issue. Most working women carry at least three huge bags to work with them every day. Men usually have a briefcase or a backpack and that's it. However, the women have a purse, a tote-bag and usually two other "mystery bags" on public transportation this causes a mess for commuters, who often have little room to move. Also, I work in downtown DC and need to walk through a metal detector every day for work. Many of us need to pass through security for our agencies. These women always make the entrance more difficult because of all their bags that need to be x-rayed and then they need to collect all that crap on the other side of the detector. During fire drills, which could be serious, they have to collect all their stuff to leave the building, only to have to lug it all in again. Also at the end of the day all those bags need to be checked by out police. So I am asking: Why all the damn stuff? What do they lug in every day that they don't just keep in the office? I know its a little silly, but it is also annoying. I actually had a female coworker who carries so many that she left one abandoned in the parking garage and they had to call the bomb squad for an unattended bag...i kid you not. Anyway Thanks again." Well, thanks for your questions and comments mercury rising. I think that there are many rational and irrational reasons women carry so many bags with them. The lady on the bus is using the bags she carries with her to increase her personal space. The bags represent and extension of her already larger then life size and her own bags surrounding her are like a mobile nesting instinct. It's like she's a big bird and the bags represent a nest surrounding her. This increases her personal space which can be at a premium in a city like like Washington DC. Washington is more European in design because of the mid rise building style and many walk-able streets. When I visited I found it extremely pedestrian friendly.More Street Harassment!?!? 227 - A Mothers Shame

"Hello Sandman, I was wondering if you could give advice to college level MGTOW's on how prevent their parents, especially mothers, shaming them for being single." Well, thanks for your question Dave I'll do my best trying to answer it. First of all college or University is a major right of passage into adulthood in North American society. There's the prom and high school graduation and then comes college. And your parents are seeing these rights of passage go by and they think to themselves, my child is going to meet someone and get married and have grandchildren. So you are messing with the rights of passage that they expect you to go through. And remember Dave, your parents probably had you around the time they were twenty five or thirty years of age. To them it's expected that you're going to do the same thing, marry and have kids in the next five to ten years. Many mothers also see their sons as an insurance policy. Someone to help out if things get tough in the future. Someone to help keep them from being lonely. Someone to pass on their DNA. Someone to visit them when they are in the nursing home. And remember up until you went to college your parents might have seen you as their property. Not a human being but something to be coddled and looked after. And they made decisions for you most of your life and now they expect you to make the decision of finding a life partner and you're not doing that. You've chosen to go off the scripted life plan. You are rebelling against their plans for you. They don't understand that you are a man going his own way. And they probably wouldn't understand what that means even if you explained it to them. You need to accept that they will never accept you and they need to agree to disagree with you. I know that's easier said then done but that's what needs to happen. And you have to either let the shame roll off your back and play nice or you can strike back every-time your mother shames you by pointing out other bad relationships and divorces that everyone in your family sees. And just tell your mother you don't want to end up like that. And you can even say that you don't think you could go on living if that ever happened to you. Remember your mother fears only one thing more then you not getting married and having children. And that's your untimely death or if you abandon her and never speak to her again. And in the worst case scenario if your mother refuses to get off your back and continues to pester youall the time, you can threaten to go your own way from her. I'm not suggesting this and am just saying it as the last or worst case scenario. What I want to see you do is stand up for yourself. Build your self confidence and when she shames you I want you to call her on what she's doing. My mother is predictable.Artificial Wombs Aren't the Answer to Work-Life Balance Issueshttp://www.elle.com/news/lifestyle/ar...Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/mgtow/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

226 - Sugar Daddies

I'd like you to do a video on a recent Lisa Ling CNN episode regarding sugar-daddy dating culture. In Lisa Ling's sugar daddy essay she details and her own history of being seduced by the lifestyle and how that was a bad thing, and how she is happier now to have escaped from it. The entire episode takes a critical view of this relationship dynamic, calling it sexism and misogyny, and comparing it to prostitution. My question to you Sandman is that: "Would Lisa Ling qualify as a NAWALT in your view? And what to make of these feminist women that reject and condemn the whole arrangement of "companionship" for material support? After watching a lot of MGTOW videos, I was kind of surprised to see these CNN women actually attacking hypergamy. Are they actually rejecting hypergamy, or only such direct overt manifestations of it? What is the angle here?" Well, thanks for your questions DannyD. To start with CNN is not rejecting hypergamy but they are promoting it. Simply creating a video and article called "Dating website founder says love doesn't exist" is telling viewers that love is a fantasy and that relationships are about what you can physically get from them and not necessarily emotional gratification. The idea that relationships are emotionally fulfilling is an idea that's predominantly sold to men. This idea that women can love us back the way we love them needs to be rooted deeply into the culture. If it wasn't and men knew that women didn't reciprocate then men in general would be far less likely to get involved in relationships and marriage. If you know someone loves you back the same way then you are more willing to give them everything of yourself. I'm also including the links to the two stories you sent me in the description below so that everyone can watch the video or read the articles and make up their own minds. So the founder of Seeking arrangement is telling everyone the truth that love doesn't exist. And based on his descriptions of his mom she sounds like a traditional conservative woman. His mother told him to focus on being successful and use success and money to get the women that he desires. He even says that being smart and nice is apparently not enough to find women in this day and age. 225 - MGTOW A Leaderless Resistance

As many of you probably already know there was a shooting here in Canada in Ottawa, the capital city. A gunman killed a soldier at the Canadian war memorial and then made his way into the parliament buildings where he was eventually killed by the authorities in that building. The motives behind the shooting were considered driven by extremist Islamic influence by someone that can be described as being a lone wolf gunmen. But what many of you didn't know is on that same day with all of the commotion Stephen Harper, the Prime Minister of Canada pushed through legislation that allow for more snooping into the personal lives of Canadians with new powers proposed for CSIS. Which is Canada's spy agency. I'm also putting a link to that piece of news in the description so you can have a look at it for yourselves. According to the article there are many people on social media that suspect that the shooting was a false flag operation designed to take away the civil liberties of Canadians when it comes to freedom of speech. So why is that important to MGTOW and the idea of leaderless resistance? Well the strength that our philosophy has is that we don't meet in public and we have no hierarchy. This is great because we can grow and grow and government agencies are not fully aware of what we are up to. And because we are all effectively going our own way we are hard to profile as individuals because we all come from diverse backgrounds. If MGTOWs are sometimes confused about what it means to be mgtow then that's even more confusing to the people in power and others trying to figure out exactly what we stand for. I guess that to the people in power we represent lone wolves to some extent because many of us refuse to marry or enter long-term relationships. And in Canada the men's rights movement and MGTOW could technically be considered a hate groups if we simply inspire someone into taking their own behavior to a hateful place. So if I say that women have the tendency to be hypergamous and the government deems that I inspired someone to commit a hateful act based on my statement then I could go to jail for a year thanks to the wonderful people in the Canadian justice system. At least in theory that's what could happen to me. But in the United States the laws are different and considering the fact that YouTube is in the United States then my videos can sit on their servers and be viewed around the world. But that still doesn't prevent the Canadian government from coming after me in the future if they see me as some kind of threat. In MGTOW there are no leaders in our philosophy. And for government spies infiltrate and influence leaderless movement like ours is impossible.Government Passes Anti-Constitutional Surveillance Law During Ottawa Shootinghttp://freethepresscanada.org/2014/10...Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/mgtow/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

224 - Generous Men

Today I want to talk about the generosity of men and how it often gets us into trouble and turns us into manginas. And many generous men don't seem to have the word "no" in their vocabularies. It's often said that for a young man to have his father in his life it's generally a good thing because masculine traits are passed down from one generation to the next. But in some cases the qualities that get passed down can be detrimental for the next generation of men. It all depends on many factors including large generational and cultural gaps. My own father is forty years older then me and grew up in Eastern Europe during and after the second world war. He was brought up in a communist country where people tried to live up to the fantasy of collectivist ideals. And women generally are more collective then men and men are more individualistic. So in some ways the battle between collectivist communism and individualistic capitalism in the twentieth could be seen as a fight between a male and female psychology. Women want the safety of numbers by being part of collect and to treat each other fairly in the outside world but in their private lives that's usually where they show their true nature. From what I've seen, men in general tend to be themselves more in public spaces with other people around. And then tend to go home and are fake around their wives trying not to rock the boat and find themselves spending the night in the dog house. But getting back to this idea that generous men are flawed. I think that generous men that are always wanting to help out other people just for the sake of being do gooders are rewarding women for their narcissistic behavior more then they are helping them. I think that men shouldn't bend over backwards to help strangers. I don't care how many times you've watched uncle Ben die in the first Spiderman film with Tobey McGuire. With great power a man shouldn't be forced to take on great responsibility. With great power a man should be free to do whatever the fuck he wants. Why should a successful male be forced to look out for others when others aren't looking out for his best interests? This seems like a simple argument, yet my father taught me to help strangers and to have good moral character.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/mgtow/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

223 - Alpha Vs Omega Men

Everyone knows that women prefer Alpha males. The men that are financially successful, good looking, muscular, tall, have a full head of hair and have a charming personality and say the right thing at the right time. An alpha male can be any man that has put effort into improving his outward appearance for the rest of the world and most specifically to women. Women look for strong outside qualities in males because those are the same types of things that most women are taught to value in themselves. A woman is supposed to project success and so should her man. That's how they see things. And being a successful man it seems has very little to do with having a rich and meaningful inner life, finding inner peace and happiness. Being an alpha is about being the opposite of that. It's about conformity and changing yourself to accommodate to what women want. You come second and everything you do is for her first and foremost even though society has convinced you that you're doing it for yourself and to get laid. That's why whenever I see an alpha male with his wife and three or four kids attached to him I feel like it's poetic justice. Men like him were apparently luck to get the hot women in their twenties and marry them. And now they often resemble a shell of an alpha man. While most women are after alpha males, many beta and omega men are also guilty of being attracted to beautiful Alpha females that radiate youth, sexuality, health and fitness. But most beta and omega men have no idea about the dangers inherent in such women. Inside of them they too wish they were alphas. To be a true alpha male it's almost like you've had to be an alpha male from a very young age. If you're a big, dominant kid growing up with lots of confidence and you rule over the other kids you feel confident in your social skills and physical prowess early on because you are using them to put other males down then it's easy for you to move forward in life and have your pick of the women. You essentially have almost everything going for you at a young age. But if you start your young life as an Omega male and your social skills, physical appearance and other outward qualities are poor you are effectively handicapped for the rest of your life and will most likely never become an Alpha male. You will probably never become the quarterback and run off with the home coming queen. Instead most men that are omegas early on will continue to feel down about themselves for the rest of their lives.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/mgtow/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

222 - Serial Killer Elizabeth Bathory

"Hi Sandman, If you need inspiration then talking about Countess Bathory might open a Pandora box on female nature. Please take my suggestion seriously. Thank You." Well, MR. Anonymous I am going to take your suggestion seriously and do a video about her. This is a topic I've been wanting to cover for a while now and hopefully this will be the first part in a series of videos called female serial killers. Countess Bathory was known as Countess Dracula or the Blood Countess because she had apparently killed up to six hundred and fifty girls in her castle and according to legends she bathed in their blood. She would hire local servant girls from the towns around her, bring them to her castle for work and then punish them in treacherous and murderous ways. Her subjects were scared of her were scared of standing up to her. There's more to this story then we know. And bathing in blood was nothing compared to what she was doing to these women. She kept the girls would be in cages and she would pierce them with a lance and blood would rain down onto her from the cages above. And she almost got away with treating her subjects in this way because they were Slovaks and not Hungarians. The Hungarians looked down on the Slovaks as being sub-human so other Hungarians didn't care how she treated her servant girls. Also back then torch-er and cruelty were accepted as part of the normal way the wealthy aristocrats against the peasants. She controlled the peasants and dished out cruelty. But being cruel wasn't considered anything special. When Countess Barthory was eventually put on trial she was charged with excessive and extra-ordinary cruelty. Many of the stories about her don't really talk about the fact that these ethnic tensions existed in the country at that time. And the more I research about her the more I notice that her lashing out at these servant girls has a lot to do with the death of her husband and the loss of her land and power. She took out the fear and anxiety of aging and losing her prestige on these poor Slovak girls. And her husband, before he died taught her the star kicking. This is a procedure where you take a servant girl and little pieces of paper soaked in oil, put them between the servant girls toes and then and you set the paper of fire and the servant kicks and sees stars from the pain. Countess Bathory came from a culture that was more Klingon then human. And I'm not defending her cruelty. I'm just saying it's not as cut and dry as we'd like to think. But what's shocking is that even with the rumors of her killing servant girls people still wanted to work for her. That's how desperate times were in Hungary because most of the young men were dying in on the front lines with the Turks so parents often sold their own daughters into slavery to her as a way to survive.Elizabeth Bathory -The Blood Countess-Part 1/3https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jU98g...Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/mgtow/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

221 - Holy Women

Hi Sandman, I have been a subscriber for a while now and enjoy your intelligent, thoughtful and frank persuasive speeches. I am pushing 50 and work in a government lab testing sewage. I hate the job and have been passed over affirmative action style so I am retiring soon to try my hand at ghosting. I am very angry over the way things turned out at work and am tired of being used as a very productive utility minus all rewards for my output, creativity, knowledge, intelligence, dedication, etc. Add to that I am raped by the IRS every five years or so leaving me with nothing to show for my work but a sore body, I've had it, I'm done. Now that I've gotten that out of the way here's the topic I want to talk about. I recall that you are not hostile to Christians, which is refreshing these days. Sadly, and I include myself in this category as a Christian, many of us are God's worst enemies at times. All I can say in defense of us Christians is as bad as we are, we would be much worse without our hefty moral code. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind commenting about some ancient Biblical insight into the nature of women and see how it squares with what MGTOW sees the modern woman as being. Anyways, there is some interesting secular stuff re: women in the Psalms and Proverbs that perhaps you will like. If you don't have a Bible, there are dozens of free ones on the web. I'll cite some passages you might be interested in." Well Ray thanks for your questions and comments and for offering the passages. I'll go through them and give you my analysis. But before I do I just need to say that hopefully you're not catholic and won't mind that I took the liberty of using images of nuns for this video? While I have no personal beef with Christianity I still believe that turns many men into manginas. Christianity is bad for men when it comes to women because if a government or a woman uses you are you supposed to just turn the other cheek and let her do it again? Christianity is about avoid the pain that others inflict on you or taking it and then asking for more. If you ask me that's a wee bit sadomasochistic. And that could explain to some extent why you've decided to stay in a government lab for as long as you have testing sewage. And why you simply didn't walk away and find another job when you were passed up for promotions for many years. Do yourself a favor and look into your motivations and try and figure out if guilt from Christianity is driving your own motivations and drives.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/mgtow/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
